Cas wandered around on his hands and toes, his tail flicking rapidly. He toyed with a lamp and knocked it over.
Sorin jolted awake and narrowed his eyes on him. "Cas? Are you… Are you alright?" He rubbed at his eyes. "Do you need something?"
Cas just meowed loudly and continued wandering, testing the lamp with his teeth.
"Cas–" He tossed the sheets aside and went over to him. "No. We don't eat lamps." He began prying the lamp from his teeth.
Cas hissed and hopped away, playing with the curtains now. He tried to scratch at them, but without claws, he didn't do any damage.
He watched as the curtain rod began to shake. "Cas, no." Sorin walked over to him and pulled him off.
Cas still clung to the curtains and pulled the rod down. It fell and hit his head quite hard, making him yowl loudly in pain and distaste.
Sorin bent down and picked him up, rubbing his head softly as he planted soft kisses on the side of his face.
Cas purred softly as he clung to Sorin. He seemed to be starting to come to his senses again, though he was still rather disoriented.
"Hey are you okay?" He continued rubbing his head and planted another kiss on his cheek. "How bad does it hurt?"
"Mm…" Cas nuzzled against Sorin, not really answering the questions. He seemed to be overall okay, though.
He pressed a kiss to his cheek, lingering a bit longer before pulling away. "What were you doing up so early anyway?"
"Woke up… cat things…" Cas mumbled tiredly.
"Cat things?" Sorin lied him down gently on his back.
"Feral… wanted to do cat things…" Cas huddled into the sheets.
"Oh, alright…" He nodded and lied next to him, pulling him towards his chest.
Cas relaxed and quickly fell back asleep in Sorin's arms.
His tiredness ebbed away at his consciousness and he closed his eyes, letting him drift off into sleep.
The next time Cas woke up was in the morning, and he scarcely remembered what he'd done in the early hours of the morning. He stared at the fallen curtain rod curiously until Sorin woke up.
He opened his eyes, glancing at the other then following his gaze. “What’s–“ he yawned, “What’s wrong?”
"What happened to the curtain?" He asked, rubbing at his eyes.
"You happened. Your cat instincts?" Sorin propped his elbow up and rest his head on his hand. "Do you not remember?"
Cas shook his head. "Is that why I'm so tired?" His ears twitched a bit as he kept looking at the curtain.
He nodded and he reached to touch his ear. He stroked it softly, rubbed it between his two fingers before caressing his cheek with the back of his hand.
Chills went down Cas's spine down to the tip of his tail while he purred. If anything, his ears were even more sensitive than his tail.
"You're so beautiful…" He took a hold of his hand and closed his eyes, pressing his lips on the back of it gently.
Cas blushed deeply, his entire body quivering. "Th-Thanks…?"
Sorin raised an eyebrow at him. "You alright?"
"Yeah, I'm just… flustered, I guess. I shake when I get nervous, and you're kinda making me nervous." Cas laughed, the ear Sorin wasn't holding turning back.
