He nodded and grabbed his glass of milk. "Do you want this?"
He nodded and grabbed his glass of milk. "Do you want this?"
"Sure." Cas drank some of the milk, luckily not seeming too distressed right now.
"You could get as many cookies as you… actually…" Sorin took a bite out of his cookie and grimaced. "Not much. It's a bit too sweet."
"Yeah, I put in extra sugar, because sugar is good." Cas bit into his own cookie contentedly.
He smiled, shaking his head. "Yes, it may taste good, but it's not good for you. It can give you cavities."
Cas just shrugged with half the cookie sticking out of his mouth. "Pretty sure I'm less prone to them than humans." He said, his voice a bit muffled.
"I would hope so… but it doesn't change the fact that sugar is bad for you."
"A few cookies won't kill me. But a whole sheet-" Cas picked up the pan that was just one big cookie.
Sorin took it from his hands and set it far away from him. "No. You can have one more cookie, but no more after that."
"Hmph… fiiine." Cas picked up another cookie and shoved it in his mouth.
He put the small cookies into a cookie jar and wrapped the large one in saran wrap. "You could eat more tomorrow."
Cas reached out his arms for Sorin to pick him up, meowing in a needy tone.
He turned and raised an eyebrow. "Hmm?" It took him a few seconds to realize what he wanted and Sorin went over and picked him up.
Cas purred when Sorin picked him up, wrapping his legs around his waist for stability. "I love you~"
Sorin gripped his hips to ensure he didn't slip. "I love you too, Cas," he smiled broadly as he walk them to the couch.
"Well, we climbed trees, exercised, and made cookies… now what?" Cas asked, huddling against Sorin.
"What do you want to do?" he sat on the couch and moved him so that he was comfortable on his lap. "I'm good with anything."
"We could just watch tv and cuddle, I guess."
"What do you want to watch?" Sorin reached for the remote on the coffee table and grabbed it.
"Anything. Baking show, maybe, since food…" Cas turned to the tv, seeming intrigued when it lit up.
"Alright. Baking show it is." He set the remote down and propped Cas off of his lap so that he would be sitting next to him.
Cas leaned up against Sorin while they watched, tucking himself under the other's arm.
His eyes were fixed on the TV, watching the show intently. He toyed with the hem of Cas's shirt as he sat there, intrigued with what was on screen.
Cas didn't seem to notice, but he got himself quite comfortable in the crook of Sorin's arm.
Sorin's keenness soon died out. He glance down at Cas. "Hey, you wanna watch something else? Like on Netflix or whatever?"
"Yeah, sure." Cas fiddled cluelessly with the remote. "What do you like to watch?"
"Something scary probably? Like– Here, let me see," He gently took the remote from his hands and scrolled. "Maybe… American Horror Story."
"I haven't seen that one." Cas examined the thumbnail. "What's it about?"
"Well, every season kinda tells a different story… but we'll start with season one which is about a family that moved into a haunted house." He pressed the play button and waited for it to load.
"Okay." Cas seemed pretty calm and content at first, but became more alert throughout the episode. He didn't seem completely terrified or anything; just a bit on edge.
