"I just like plain bagels. It's no fault of V's."
"I just like plain bagels. It's no fault of V's."
Urielle smiled easily "I know, I'm just teasing. So how's life been since you got here to Earth?"
"Oh, um…" Nathaniel looked away for a moment. "It's fine now I'm with V, but… uh… it was kind of really really difficult before."
Urielle nodded, hating how he couldn't be there for the two when they needed help the most "I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner to help you.boys."
"It's fine… I'm sure you're quite busy." Nathaniel yawned, rubbing at his eyes with one fist.
"busy or restrained. Eitherway, I should have come sooner."
V came into the room and smiled softly "you've done more than you know urielle."
"How come you can teleport and we can't?" Nathaniel asked curiously, trying to subtly change the subject.
"I'm not cast out like you two, not yet at least. Until then, I have my angelic ability." He explained
"I was never able to teleport as a kid, though. Is it just a high ranking thing?"
"Most likely," he said. V hugged Nathaniel from behind and rested his head on his shoulder "dinner will e ready soon."
"Alrighty, love." Nathaniel kissed his cheek sweetly. "What're you making?"
"Chicken and pasta with some sauce." he said, smiling and pulling away to go back to the kitchen
"Cool." Nathaniel leaned back in his chair, humming to himself quietly. "When will it be done?"
"10 minutes!" He called from the kitchen.
Urielle stood up and smiled "I'll head off after dinner, found a comfortable hotel a few miles away. If you need anything, anything at all, just pray."
"Alrighty to both of you." Nathaniel let his chair fall back into a normal position with a thump when he started teetering precariously.
Urielle smiled at him before standing to help V with dinner
After a few minutes of getting the plates out and serving the food, they set the food on the table and sat down to eat
Nathaniel ate quietly, letting V and Urielle catch up for a bit. V had always known Urielle better when they were kids, anyways.
"I've been thinking," urielle spoke up after talking softly with V, "that we should continue both your training sessions here. In case anything like this happens again."
"Oh, that's alright… believe me when I say I practice fighting quite often." Nathaniel laughed quietly. "In all seriousness, though, that'd probably be wise."
V nodded in agreement "especially since there's been a lot of demon activity going on lately. It's bee good to brush up on some skills."
"Mhmm. I wasn't lying about still being in practice, though." Nathaniel leaned back in his chair again. "I pick a lot of fights."
"ya, I can tell, especially since you decide to fight half of them." Urielle gave him a pointed look and grinned. "We can stamorrow if you'd like." He said, addressing the two
"Sure. Sounds good to me. V?" Nathaniel turned his head towards V to get his opinion.
He nodded with a smile "sounds great. Hopefully it'll strengthen our wings."
Nathaniel shrugged. "I don't know what good strengthening my wings would do. They're still useless, but nonetheless, I'm down for training."
Urielle nodded "we can go to that sword place that you use for a training session."
V nodded again, they let you rent out time if you want to do private lessons or training. It should be private enough too.
"I can make some weapons if we've got time." Nathaniel offered. "I used to do that a lot as a kid."
"they'd be great, though I don't know where you're going to get the material for the blade's here. Most of it is celestial steel."
"Ah, true… oh well. I mean, humans use all sorts of metals to make weapons. They don't have access to celestial steel."
"true, if you can get the material needed, then of course you can make weapons."
