(Sorry, I fell asleep.)
Ryuu heard a voice and instantly thought it was his mother. He grabbed King close, and held him to his chest. Rocking back and fourth, there were to words he kept repeating 'I'm Sorry.' He waited for her to find him and drag him back home. At home there was a special room for him. Under the house was a room where his mother had bolted chains to the floor. It was a dark room. She would chain him up for however long she thought he needed. He then covered his ears ready for her yelling to come any moment.

Turning back around at the sound of a repetition of words. Her hearing was incredible, along with all if her other senses. One of the perks of being a demon.
Flames flickered along with her blackened fingertip as she walked towards the sound.

She kept hearing over and over again. Almost annoying to her.
"Why hello there."
She says with the kindness fake smile she could put on. She was here for a soul. Not love.
Or so she thought.
Ryuu jumped and out of instinct he took his book and threw it at her. After seeing it wasn't his mom his eyes grew wide and he covered his mouth. "I-I'm sorry." He crawled up to her to see if the girl was alright. "Are you okay?" She was very beautiful, almost like she out from a book. Golden eyes black silky and fluffy hair. She couldn't be real.
"Well, I mean you threw a book at me."
She says rubbing the side of her head where It hit. Her horns and wings were still showing, and a little ghost type thing floating beside her. The only purpose it had was a companionship. Though it didn't even talk.
"Anyway"
She says flicking her fingers, a flame appearing as it made her eyes almost look res in the light the flame emitted.
"Are you Ryuu?"
She says looking down on the boy, her hand that wasn't holding the flame was on her hip as it was cocked to the side. She studied him and his facial expression, then the rest of his features. She was quite jealous of it pretty light features. But she was fond of her own, so it didn't bother her much.
"Uh, Yes I am. And who are who?" Ryuu turned Kings head so that he was looking at her as well. Ryuu was a strange boy, but he didn't care what others though, well most of the time anyway. He looked at her head and saw the horns were on them, along with wings on her back. "Have you come to kill me?" He wasn't necessarily afraid of her, but he didn't really want to die either, no matter how his life sucked.
"Well……"
She says looking at his teddy bear and taking a step towards him, leaning down to him and holding out her hand with a kind smile.
"Could I maybe see that for a second?"
She says curiously, wondering what it was, not answering either of his questions.
"Sorry, but King doesn't like anyone else." He talked as if he could communicate with the bear. He looked at her with his blue eyes. Sure he was weird, but that didn't mean he couldn't stand up for himself, even if it was against a demon. The only person he was truly afraid of was his mom. Her eyes were really pretty and unique. That was the first thing about her that he noticed.
"Well….as to answer your question."
She says standing up straight again.
"Who am I?"
A devilous smirk crawling onto her face as she stared down at him. Suddenly the teddy bear in his arms burst up into flames, then the flames immediately disappearing and nothing but ash was left in his arms.
"I'm your only friend now."

Ryuu watched as King was turned to ash. All he could do was sit there and stare, but after a few moments he screamed, trying to gather up the ashes. Of course he knew there was nothing he could do at this point, but his mind wouldn't let it go. "King, king!" Tears formed in his eyes and were frantically looking around for anything that might help. "How dare you! You killed my friend." He stood up and pushed her out of the way and walked further into the forest.
"Anyway….. I don't think youre the age they said in the form…."
She says following him casually.
"Tell me kid, how old are you? 9?"
She says rolling her eyes and seemingly floating in the air above him as she followed wherever he went.
"I'm nineteen. Don't insult me." He said in a tone that was a bit threatening. He couldn't help it, even if she was a demon he was just mad, plain and simple. "He was the only way only thing I had for years." He kicked the dirt under his feet. For one he couldn't believe a demon would just come here and want to be friends with him, there had to be something she wanted.
"Well, that's a tad unhealthy. Getting attached to something so easy and something such as a little bear named king? What the hell even is that? You're nineteen, then act like it."
She says rather rudely. All she did was burn a stuffed animal. He needed to grow up. Did he even have the maturity to fall in love? And anyway, someone had to be cursed or mentally diseased to call-in life with her.
She started questioning why she was so confident in the first place about this. But that wasnt going to change the fact that she was going to go through with this. She was going to steal his soul one way or the other.
"You know nothing about me." He pushed his white hair back and spun around grabbing her arm and pulling her close. "Demon or not, don't act like you know everything." His ice blus eyes were dead and cold as he looked at her. If she wanted to kill him, then she might as well do it as soon as possible. "I very well know how old I am, and that I'm messed up." He grinned and a spark of amusement flickered in his eyes. "I don't need to hear that from a Demon." Ryuu exaggerated the last word then pushed her away.
"Hah, i sure do like you"
She says as flames danced around her hair slightly and in her eyes kike a raging forest fire consuming everything it could reach in its path though still glowing yellow.
"So, how did you know was a demon?"
She says cocking her hip to the side with her hand on it, showing her curves more than they stood out usually, though not purposely.
She knew she was going to have fun with this one, and she suddenly regained her confidence back.
(He has a bit of a split personality, haha. If you couldn't tell.)
"Well the wings and horns give it away." He rolled his eyes, anyone could tell she was if she looked like that. Ryuu looked at the now scorched earth around him. He wish he had a power like that and could watch his mother burn and scream for him to help. As he thought that a sinister grin appeared on his face. Maybe, just maybe she would do it for him. That will have to wait till later. In the distance was tops of buildings. The town. Ryuu was determined to get a new bear.
"Well i could be something else, but fair enough. Anyway kid, ill be staying with you for about a year if you don't mind. And if you do….well too bad."
She says waving a little flame around her cute little "companion" with a smile. Dusty was its name, no gender or anything though. Dusty flew around her then up to Ryuus face with a gush of wind. Nothing could touch it but Ebony herself.
"Well, then what do you need? Demons don't just come to the human world for nothing." Ryuu, ruffled his hair, a bit frustrated with this whole situation. Why does a demon need to follow me around? Will I commit a sin in the future or something? Looking over his shoulder he looked her up and down. At least a pretty demon will kill me. Ryuu was ready to go. He just wanted to leave. (They can't tell the humans why they are really there.)

"well you seemed interesting, so i gave myself a fun little chalenge. I've never studied a human before so i wanted to give it a shot and try it out. And honey, Im no normal demon."
She says with a little smirk though wondering why this Ryuu kid was ignoring Dusty.
"plus, youre adorable!"
She says ruffling his hair bending down a bit with a smile on her face, her canines sharp as a vampires pressing against her bottom lip slightly on either sides. Standing up straight now and running her fingers through her hair she looked at him still with a smile, an almost seductive look, though unintentional.
"I'm a skinny kid with, with pale skin white hair and blue eyes. Most people wouldn't call me adorable, more like, weird." It made him a little happy to hear that, and without noticing a slight smile appeared on his face. His eyes lighting up a bit. "I want to go to school and not be made fun of. I want to be popular. Can you help me with that since you will be with me for a year anyway?"
"Hmm, yeah sure. But for now, where do you live? Not in that shack back there right? You don't look like you live in a cave but I don't think I would be surprised."
She says putting her hands on her hips and looking around them.
"Ah, no." He was thankful she was going to help, but he couldn't help but think that there was a catch. "I live in the mansion back that way in the forest." He jerked his head the opposite way they were walking. "First, clothes. I need your help." He was going to become point before he died in a year.
"Well, if we're going to do that then we need to get to your house. You said that mansion, right? Come on."
She says spreading out her wings and holding her hand out to him.
Her blackish red-tinted wings spread out about 3 times her arm span would be. White claw-like points protruding out of the tips and joints. Her horns on her head didn't match the ones on the wings, for they were black and kinda jagged, but you could only tell if you ran your fingers along them.
Ryuu shrugged and took her hand. "My mother is probably there with a guy, so we have to be quiet." He also needed to cut his hair, and get these bags under his eyes fixed. And working out and eating right was something that needed to be done as well. "In a mouth I should be ready." He mumbles to himself.
"stop thinking about that for now. How annyoing"
She says rather rudely as she pulls him closer to her body.
"So…. do you like flying?"
She says with a devious smirk as she clutches onto his hand, her fingernails that werent actually finger nails at all (i think i left a link to what they looked like)
(oh btw, i messed up some of the links in her template that i sent, so i fixed those if you want to look at that again)
"I've never flown before." He admitted, a tad scared of what it was like. She seemed interesting and nice enough, for a demon at least. "So why do we need to go to my house?" It's not like anything was there. For now he will just follow her, there must be a reason for her needing to go there.

With him close to her and shooting up to the sky and towards the mansion. Her hair flowing in the wind rapidly as she did, and with every time flap of her wings they lifted higher in the air. Soon they landed on the roof, setting him down, she looked around.
"How do we get in?"
"Um, the front door." Did demons houses not have doors? If so that would be weird. "I mean my mom is probably busy anyway." He was headed to town to buy a new king, but for some reason she wanted to go to his house. Ryuu's house was covered in plants and was in the middle of nowhere, so it looked like it would be from one of those haunted houses from a movie.
"Okay, well……. Where's the door?"
She says putting her hands on her hips again, looking around then walking over to the edge of the roof, looking back at him.
"I forget how weak you humans are…."
She mumbles to herself with a rather annoyed sigh.
"Come here."
She waves him over to the edge.
He shrugged and walked over. Getting on his hands and keens he looked around for his door. "This is the back side of the house. We need to go this way." He stood and walked the opposite direction. With how big his house was it was quite annoying to find the door. He has never been on the roof before, it was a really beautiful view. His bright blue eyes scanned over the forest he lived in.
