He couldn't help but smile at that. The feel of his lips against his warm skin caused him to shudder slightly.
He couldn't help but smile at that. The feel of his lips against his warm skin caused him to shudder slightly.
Cas shifted up a bit to the base of Sorin's neck, kissing him there as well. He'd definitely gotten more bold since they'd met.
He ran his fingers through his hair as he closed his eyes. Sorin was honestly willing to let the cookies burn if it meant he spent more time with him.
Cas trailed kisses up Sorin's neck to his jaw, purring softly. His tail flicked frequently from his eagerness.
Sorin glided his hand down his back and to his tail. He stroked it between his fingers from the base and toward the middle.
Cas shivered, his tail stiffening. He pressed his teeth lightly into Sorin's skin.
He drew a shuddering breath, almost letting go of his tail but maintaining a steady grip. He wrapped it around his palm and let it unravel as his fingers stroked it.
Cas bit down a bit harder on accident, almost breaking the skin. He quickly pulled away, apologizing profusely.
"Hey, it's okay…" He gave him a soft, reassuring smile. "I'm okay. No need to apologize."
He nodded, his face flushed. "I didn't mean to hurt you… you just… surprised me…"
"It's okay," Sorin pecked him on the nose. "Besides, it didn't really hurt all that much."
Cas nodded and jumped a moment later from an apparent sudden noise. He was able to hear the oven ding from upstairs despite the thick walls because of his enhanced hearing.
He cocked an eyebrow at him and stood upright. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"The cookies are done. Did you not hear the oven?" Cas got up as well, his ears swiveling towards the stairwell.
He shook his head and stood up to put on his shirt. Most of his enhanced senses had either weakened or faded completely ever since he fell from heaven.
"Oh… well, the oven made the 'your cookies are done' noise, so…" Cas shrugged. "I think that means the cookies are done."
He gave him a small smile before walking him up the stairs. Sorin put his oven mitts on and took out the cookies from the oven, not really minding the heat that blew in his face. "Now, we have to wait a bit so they can cool," he placed the pans on the counter.
Cas hopped from foot to foot anxiously, glancing up at Sorin. "But… I wanna eat them now."
"You can," Sorin poked the tip of his nose. "In fifteen minutes."
"But that's too looong…" Cas whined, turning his ears back.
"No, it isn't," he placed both of his hands on the sides of his face. "The cookies have been in there for twenty-four minutes. Did that really seem like an eternity?"
Cas nodded. "I could die at any moment, and I don't wanna die without cookies. If I die in the next fifteen minutes and I haven't eaten any cookies, I'm blaming you."
"Oh come on. I'm not going to let you die. But nice try on trying to persuade me into giving you hot cookies."
He huffed indignantly. "I just want to eat some cookies, and they're best when they're hot. They'll be cold in fifteen minutes."
"They'll be cooler in fifteen minutes," Sorin corrected, a small grin tugging at his lips. "They'll still be warm."
"Nah. Fifteen minutes is a pretty long time for cookies to cool." Cas examined the trays.
He grinned and moved to block his view from the tray."Well I guess we're eating them cold then."
"But… that's just depressing, though…" Cas said quietly.
He sighed. "Fine. Five minutes then."
"…Alright." Cas hopped up onto the counter next to the oven to wait impatiently.
