Jackson hesitated with his next words realizing he might have taken it to far, “I would say otherwise, dear.”

Eric blushed, glancing up silently.

Jackson looked down at Eric. He shouldn’t have done so since the other boy looked so cute.

Eric looked back down, chewing his lip. What do I say what do I say- does he even mean it?- what do I say…

Jackson looked back up to see they had made it to McDonalds, “Oh, uh, we’re here.”

Eric looked up and smiled. "Yay!"

Jackson laughed a little and walked up to the door, "Yeah, yay."

Eric trailed after him, digging through his bag when his face fell. "Shit…"

Jackson looked back at Eric, "What?"

Eric face palmed. "I left my wallet at home! It fell out of my bag and I didn't grab it like I thought!"

"Oh, that's a bit of a problem," Jackson said, "I could, uh, pay for anything you want. And if you wanted to you could pay me back tomorrow?"

Eric blushed. "You really don't have to, I can just sit this one out…"

"No, I, uh, insist," Jax responded, "I can get fries for both of us."

"Are you sure?" He asked, looking up slightly.

"Yeah," Jackson nodded with a grin, "I can do that much for you."

Eric smiled shyly. "T-thanks. I swear I'll pay you back tomorrow."

"Got it," Jackson nodded and smiled, "But I'll get you fries."

"Thanks." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

"No problem," Jackson nodded and walked up to the counter to order fries and sodas, because they needed soda.

Eric stood behind him, still a bit embarrassed. How did you do something so stupid-

Jackson grabbed the cups and handed one to Eric, "Here's a cup."

"Thanks…" He mumbled, looking down.

Jackson gave a slight nod, "You're welcome."

Eric smiled softly, going to fill the cup. Why is he so sweet…?

Jackson walked over and filled his cup up with Dr. Pepper and put a lid on.

Eric got some coke, taking a sip once he got the lid on and a straw through it.

Jackson looked to Eric just as their fries showed up at the counter. He walked over to grab them and walked back, "Want to sit down?"

Eric nodded. "Sure."

Jackson nodded and gestured to an empty booth, "There good?"

"Yeah!" He said, walking over and sitting down.
