Eric was still smiling as they walked out of the theater, bouncing a little. He asked me out. Holy shit. He actually asked me out.

Jacmscl was beaming as he walked out and looked over at Eric to see him smiling too. He didn't want to cut today short, "So, uh, where to next?"

Eric shrugged. "Dunno."

"Should, we, uh just head home from here?" Jax asked him. He really didn't want to, but that's where everything seemed to be leading.

"I guess we have too…" Eric said, a bit disappointed.

"We don't have to," Jax quickly backtracked, "We could hang out a little bit longer."

Eric looked up. "Wanna just walk around for a bit?" He asked.

Jackson smiled and nodded, "Yeah, that sounds good."

Eric smiled. "Which way?"

"How about to the left?" Jackson offered directing his head.

"Okay!" He said, walking.

Jax grinned and followed after.

Eric hummed softly, hands in his pockets.

Jax walked alongside him, "The, uh, movie was pretty good.

Eric nodded. "Yeah! Had to feel bad for the one guy, kept getting the worse death and shit…"

Jackson smiled, "Yeah you really did."

"How'd he even become immortal? Did they ever explain it?" Eric asked, eyebrows furrowing together.

"I don't know," Jackson reached up and rubbed the back of his neck, "I, uh, couldn't pay attention."

"Why?" Eric asked, mind blanking.

"Well, uh, ya know," Jackson could feel his cheeks flare-up, "You."

Eric blushed, looking down. "Oh…"

"Um yeah," Jackson felt the red grow on his cheeks.

"Come to think of it… why did you ask me out?" Eric asked, looking up.

"Well, uh," Jax's cheeks at this point were redder than red and his voice seemed to get higher with each word, "I may, uh, kind of, sort of, have a crush on you?"

"…Why?" Eric asked blinking. Okay, this part has to be a joke

"Becuase?" Jackson responded his own voice a questioning everything. He couldn't really explain his attraction, it was just there, "I can't really explain it okay. I just know I find you extremely cute and anything you're interested in, I'm suddenly invested in."

"But, why? Why me? Have you met me? Scratch that, have you seen me?" He asked, gesturing with his arms. "I'm not exactly the best person out there. And you can have anyone!"
