Nathaniel bit his lip a bit, his wings quivering at V's touch. A muffled whine escaped him with his face still hidden.

V glanced down at Nathaniel and raised his hand "does it hurt?" He asked softly, lips brushing the other's head

"N-No, my… my wings are just really sensitive…" He looked up at V from where he was, a bit of his coppery hair tumbling into his eyes.

"when are they not?" He teased lightly, brushing away the hair and kissing him. " Let's hope Urielle comes back with more Holy water. We're running a little short."

Nathaniel nodded, blushing a bit more from the teasing. "Hopefully… I just don't see why we have to only drink that and not, you know, normal water."

"Cuz regardless of where we are, we still have angel blood. Angel blood reacts better to Holy water than normal water." He softly kissed his angel and cuddled him closer "As Urielle said, it's not an instantaneous thing."

"I guess… I don't remember drinking much holy water as a kid, though, 'cept when I was hurt." Nathaniel hummed, letting V hold him.

"They usually use it for extreme cases and not in high doses." he nuzzled the other's hair and kissed his head "Plus I think what Urielle's giving us is diluted a bit."

"Probably." Nathaniel huddled closer to V. "I'm glad you're okay."

He smiled softly "Me too, I'm glad youre safe." He kissed the other softly "I love you Nath."

"Love you too, baby…" Nathaniel kissed him back, closing his eyes contentedly.

"hmmm," He shut his eyes as well and wrapped his arms around the other, one hand buried in nathaniels hair while the other rested on his lower back, careful not to disturb the wings

"…It's been a long time since we've seen Urielle, huh?" Nathaniel said softly, relaxing into V's hands.

"he'll be back later tonight." V said "he didn't want the others being suspicious."

"That makes sense… they wouldn't kick him out for this though, would they?"

"for helping banished angels? Maybe. I'm not sure. He's a pretty high rank. It'd be hard for any of the others to question his where abouts."

"Helping people is pretty good, though. They know he was quite fond of us when we were up there, so I don't think anyone would be surprised."

V nodded though still a bit worried "what if it's that closeness to us is what gives us away?" He asked softly

"They can't kick us out again, and we haven't done anything wrong. I doubt a high ranking angel like Urielle would be kicked out for a little thing like this."

"true," v relaxed a little and stroked nathanielshair, finding it comforting to touch the other

Nathaniel sighed contentedly with a soft smile. "Everything'll be alright, love…"

He snuggled into Nathaniel and nodded "I hope you're right, angel."

"I'm always right." Nathaniel laughed. "Except for when I'm not, but we don't talk about those times."

"mmm and why not?" He asked with a teasing pout.

"Because we don't." Nathaniel kissed him, laughing a bit to himself.

"hm, but why?" He whined, "is it embarrassing?" He asked with a small tilt to his head, kissing Nathaniel back and smiling "entertain me dear, we can't really go anywhere for now, plus I'm curious."

Nathaniel rolled his eyes. "I'm only wrong on judgement, usually. Mostly on who I can fight and who I can't."

"makes sense, granted that is how we first met…the second time." He smiled adoringly at the angel and kissed his brow. "You're bad judgement led to us being together again."

"Mhmm… see, I'm never wrong!" Nathaniel stuck his tongue out with a playful glint in his eyes.

"the whole event leading up to us meeting was based on your wrong choice to fight demon." He argued with a laugh, stretching beneath Nathaniel so his wing wouldn't cramp up
