Sorin took a bite out of his pancake. "No, you're copying me," his voice was slightly muffled by the pancake.
Sorin took a bite out of his pancake. "No, you're copying me," his voice was slightly muffled by the pancake.
"How could I be copying you if you do it after me?" Cas asked, his voice still muffled.
"I was–" Sorin stopped to chew his pancake and swallow it. "I was thinking about getting a second one and you copied me."
Cas rolled his eyes. "I can't read your thoughts, Sorin. I don't have that kind of magic."
" 'I don't have that kind of magic'," Sorin laughed and went over to grab another pancake.
"What? I'm not wrong, am I?" He huffed again, continuing to eat his pancake.
He shrugged. "I don't know. I was just messing with you," He kissed the bridge of his nose and took a bite out of his pancake. "Actually, you might… though i'm not really familiar with the type of nekos here."
"As far as I know, I can't harness any magic, despite technically being a magical creature." Cas sneezed again, just as tiny and adorable as before.
Sorin took another bite of his pancake. "An adorable magical creature."
Cas blushed, shoving his pancake in his mouth so he didn't have to respond.
Sorin finished his pancake and placed the dirty bowls and utensils in the sink.
Cas was still eating his second pancake, watching Sorin clean the dishes.
He set the clean dishes aside to dry and wiped his hands before picking up Cas, securing his legs around his waist and peppering his face with small kisses.
Cas grinned, giggling a bit. "Hi, love~" He purred, kissing his cheek.
"Hey…" He pecked his lips lightly. "If you're still hungry, I could fry some bacon and eggs for you."
"Sure! I've made eggs before!" Cas said cheerfully. "Only scrambled, though."
"Are you sure you don't want me to make them for you? I don't want you to burn yourself."
"I mean, you can still make them if you want." Cas shrugged. "I'm just saying I know how to make scrambled eggs."
"Alright then," Sorin sat him down on the marble counter. He washed the pan he made the pancakes in and used it to quickly fry the eggs and bacon.
Cas sat criss cross on the counter and watched the pan intently as Sorin cracked an egg into it, intrigued by the bubbles.
His lips curved slightly when he glanced at him. Sorin put in three strips of bacon once he flipped over the eggs.
Cas's ears twitched, as did his fingers, which were itching to reach out and touch the food. He knew it would hurt him, but it was quite tempting…
Sorin flipped the bacon and left it to fry. He went over to the kitchen cabinet and grabbed a plate.
When Sorin stepped away, Cas tentatively reached out and touched the egg, immediately yelping and falling off the counter.
Sorin set the plate down on the counter before shutting off the stove and bending down to pick him up. He carried Cas over to the couch, pressing light kisses on his head on the way there.
Cas sucked gently on his burned finger, his tail still fluffed up. Not my best decision, I'll have to admit…
Sorin took his finger out of his mouth and examined it. "Hey, what happened?"
"I touched the egg…" Cas said quietly, letting Sorin have his finger.
"Now why would you do that?" Sorin kissed his finger.
"I dunno… I wanted to, and then I kinda did. I didn't really mean to, but like… it happened…" Cas muttered, looking away.
