Sorin's sliding off the edge woke him up. He stood upright and picked up Cas, carefully walking up the stairs and to their bedroom. He set him down gently and covered him with blankets before crawling on next to him.
Sorin's sliding off the edge woke him up. He stood upright and picked up Cas, carefully walking up the stairs and to their bedroom. He set him down gently and covered him with blankets before crawling on next to him.
Cas purred quietly and seemed content to have Sorin spooning him. His tail curled around one of Sorin's legs.
Sorin smiled softly and wrapped an arm around him, feeling his body heat soak through his shirt.
Cas managed to sleep through the night and stretched his arms and legs out when he awoke, his tail fluffing up. He glanced over his shoulder at Sorin with a soft smile.
Sorin woke up, but struggled to open his eyes. His body refused to move as it were being weighed down by exhaustion.
Cas flipped around so he was facing Sorin. "Morning, love~" He purred, kissing his cheek.
"Good morning, beautiful," Sorin's lips curved slightly.
"Do you really have to make me blush first thing in the morning?" Cas hid his lightly flushed face in Sorin's shoulder.
He pulled him closer and turned so that he was resting on top of him. "Yes, actually." He kissed the bridge of his nose. "You should be getting use to it by now."
Cas whined, blushing more and closing his eyes when Sorin kissed his nose. He seemed to always have that reaction when his nose was touched. "My head kinda hurts…"
"I'll get you something for it," Sorin pressed a small kiss on his lips before setting him aside. He went into the bathroom and grabbed a bottle of Aspirin from his medicine cabinet. He handed one to Cas before going downstairs to pour him a glass of water.
Cas just stuck the plain aspirin in his mouth and started chewing it, not seeming to particularly like the taste.
Sorin ran upstairs with the glass in his hand and handed it to Cas. He narrowed his eyes on him. "Cas, what's in your mouth?"
"The thing you gave me. It doesn't taste very good…" Cas opened his mouth and let his tongue fall out, the partially crumbled aspirin still clinging to the saliva in his mouth.
"No…No, it doesn't," Sorin chuckled and handed him the glass of water. "You're not supposed to chew it, you're supposed to swallow it."
Cas took the water and drank some of it, shivering as he swallowed the aspirin. "Ew… the taste lingers."
"Now you know what happens when you eat pills," he smiled and picked him up. "I'll make you a pancake to get rid of that nasty taste."
"Mm'kay…" Cas flicked his tail, which dragged on the ground a bit again. "What kinda pancakes?"
"Hmm… maybe a cinnamon buttermilk pancake," He walked down the stairs steadily and set him down on the couch. "And I could add some bacon an eggs for you on the side if you'd like."
"Sure!" Cas nuzzled against him, purring loudly. "I love you~"
He smiled and rubbed his nose against his. "I love you more…"
"Mm… let's not get into that argument, shall we?" Cas closed his eyes again as usual, opening them as soon as Sorin pulled away.
"We have a lot to do today, you know," Sorin poked the tip of his nose. "For starters, I need to clean that wound of yours."
"Oh, yeah… that." Cas looked down at his bloodstained bandages, starting to unravel them.
"I'll be right back," Sorin went upstairs and retrieved the first-aid kit before running back down. He set the box down and helped Cas unravel his bandages.
He winced as the bandages stuck to the wound and tore it open again, fresh blood starting to flow. The wound didn't look much better, but at least it was clean.
"I'm sorry, Cas," Sorin tried to gently remove the rest of the bandages.
Cas bit his lip, watching his blood trickle down his arm. "Does… does neko blood have any magical properties?" He asked in a feeble attempt to distract himself.
"Not where i'm from," he threw away the bandages and knelt in front of him, opening the box and grabbing a few wipes. "But then again, you're a neko who isn't from there." He opened the wipe and wipes his hands before putting on the gloves from the box. "Therefore, you could," Sorin opened another wipe and softly began to wipe the wound.
Cas hissed in pain, tensing up and fighting the strong urge to pull away. "Shit…" He muttered through gritted teeth.
