Sorin opened the basement door. "Yeah, it's fine."
Sorin opened the basement door. "Yeah, it's fine."
Cas got up unsteadily and went up, almost falling down the stairs from his dizziness, but managing to hold tightly to the hand rail.
Sorin jogged towards him and picked him up, walking him back up the stairs. He set him down on the couch and handed him a water bottle.
"Thanks…" Cas curled up into a ball and sipped the water, his ears drooping.
"Do you… do you need anything? Are you cold?" Sorin placed the back of his head on his forehead. "How do you feel?"
Cas's forehead was slightly warm, but not enough to be too concerning. "I'm okay, love… I just wanna relax and preferably cuddle."
He lied down next to him, shifting a bit so he wouldn't be falling off the edge. Sorin placed Cas on top of him and wrapped his arms around him.
Cas purred, laying his head on Sorin's chest. "I love you. So much."
Sorin smiled. "I love you more."
"Mm, I doubt it." He grinned as well, finally relaxing.
"Pardon? Of course I do." He poked the tip of his nose. "And you know it."
"Nooo." Cas turned his ears back and closed his eyes when Sorin touched his nose, just like he did every other time.
"Yesss." He rubbed his nose against his temple. "You're so cute."
Cas huffed. "It's the ears, isn't it?" He brought them back up so they pointed forwards.
Sorin chuckled and pressed a few kisses on his face. "No, it's you. You're just cute in general."
"Why's that, love? Usually it's just my height paired with the ears and tail…" Cas entwined his fingers with Sorin's.
"Your personality, Casper. It's…bubbly."
"Bubbly?" Cas seemed confused. "Like how?"
"You're a very positive person to be around…very kind and lively… overall just a cute, sweet, bundle of pure happiness."
"But what about when I'm angsty and nervous and bitching about my dad?" Cas asked curiously.
"Well… it still doesn't change the fact that I like having you around."
"You're weird." Cas giggled, hugging him. "People don't usually like hanging out with me."
"People don't like hanging out with me either," he kissed the tip of his nose.
Cas closed his eyes again and sneezed a bit. His sneezes were tiny, like a kitten's.
"Awww," Sorin smiled softly, brushing his nose against his as he pulled him closer.
Cas whined, but he didn't stop Sorin from holding him. He hesitated before nuzzling against Sorin's cheek with a soft purr.
He ran his fingers through his soft hair and closed his eyes, a small smile still plastered on his face.
Cas closed his eyes again as well, relaxing into Sorin's touch. Shortly after, he started nodding off.
Sorin yawned as tiredness began to permeate throughout his body. His wing extended to cover Cas as he was too lazy to get up and get a blanket, and he dozed off.
Cas quickly fell asleep as well, sliding off of Sorin's chest to huddle very close to his side.
