Sorin was too lazy to climb and only used his wings to glide upward. "Be careful. Seriously Cas, I don't think I could bare you hurting yourself again." Nor can I afford it.

"Yeah, yeah…" Cas reached a place near the top of the tree where he was pretty much entirely blocked in by tree branches. He looked down and paled at a realization. "Uh… S-Sorin?" He began quietly. "I… uh… I think I'm stuck…"
I knew it. Sorin shook his head and flew closer to him. "Hold onto me. I'm gonna try to pull these apart a bit."
"No, I'll… I'll just try to get down." Cas stretched his foot down, slipping and clinging tightly to the branch he'd just fallen onto so he wouldn't tumble the rest of the way down. His heart started racing and he looked around for Sorin nervously.
"Cas, no," Sorin flew down toward him and scooped him in his arms. "No more trees."
Cas nodded, struggling to untangle his foot from the thin branches on the outer edges of the tree. "I-I guess I'm more like a cat than I thought… climbing trees and not being able to get down."
He couldn't help but smile. "You think?" He pried his fingers into the thin branches and pulled on them. Once he broke all of them, he flew Cas down to the grass, setting him down gently and inspecting his ankle to see if there were any abrasions.
There were a few shallow scrapes littering Cas's legs, but nothing actually concerning. Despite being a bit disheveled and flustered he seemed perfectly fine.
Sorin gave him a somber look and examined the scrapes once more. "God Cas… are you okay? Want to go home and patch these up for you?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Tis but a flesh wound." Cas hummed, looking down at his legs. "Let's go climb more trees!" He started to run off.
Sorin looked at him wide-eyed and ran after him. "No, Cas, no. No more trees."
"But it's fun!" Cas huffed, trying to get around Sorin unsuccessfully.
"Well, getting hurt isn't. I'm not going to take that risk." He waved him over.
Cas crossed his arms and reluctantly let Sorin take him away from the trees. He turned his ears back, huffing indignantly.
"I know you're mad, but trust me," he moved a few strands of hair from his eyes. "It's for your own good."
"I wanna cliiimb…" He whined, sitting down on the grass.
"I know but I don't want you getting another injury." he squished his cheeks and tilted his head slightly to the side. "I will do anything in my power to keep you safe."
Cas felt his face heat up as he turned away. "As touching as that is, it doesn't change the fact that I'm naturally inclined to climb things and you'd rather keep the bookcases from falling on me as I attempt to climb them."
He let out a heavy sigh. "Fine. But be careful. I'll be watching you from afar, okay?" he held his hand tightly. "Promise me you'll be careful."
Cas nodded and headed over to a nearby tree, heaving himself up into it. He didn't go too far up since he knew Sorin would get on him about it.
Sorin watched him like a hawk, lmaking sure he payed attention for any sign of struggle.
Once Cas was content with the amount of time he'd spent in this particular tree, he jumped down to the ground from the branch he was on. It was a bit higher than he'd anticipated and he fell over as soon as he hit the ground, which probably looked like he'd fallen from afar. He was fine, though. Just a bit surprised.
He bolted from the ground, heading toward him at full speed and pulling him into his arms. "Cas? Hey, are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"Relax." Cas held up his hands. "I'm fine, love. The branch was just a little higher than I thought it was. No big deal."
" 'No big deal'? Cas it's a huge deal! Let me see your arms."
"My arms? Why?" Cas pulled up his sleeves, looking confused. His arms were littered with old scars, luckily none recent, and a couple minor scratches that were barely noticeable.
He checked his wound and sighed in relief. "Good, good… it's not damaged." Sorin scanned the rest of his arms, cursing at himself for not being more cautious with him to prevent those.
Cas glanced at the wound as well, not seeming concerned. He tugged his sleeves back down. "Now what?"
"I'll let you climb a smaller one this time…"
"Okay!" Cas got to his feet and ran over to a smaller tree, swinging up into it.
