"breath, kitty, breath." He instrucrted gently, stroking her brow gently "Jack's can you get me my phone?"
She nodded and walked off towards the kitchen to grab his phone

¨I am¨ she said.

"I know, it just gives me something to do." He muttered softly, glancing up at Jack's as she passed him his phone
"Vanessa is alive. Come over tomorrow if you want to see her."

Vanessa sighed ¨I was so scared¨ she mumbled.

"I know, kitty cat. So was I." He relaxed against the couch and closed his eyes
Jacklyn went upstairs to check on the kids

she reached up and sstroked his cheek with her thumb.

He leaned into her hand with a small sigh "you just love scaring the crazy outta me, dontcha?"

¨Itś a talent¨ she murmmered.

"yes it is, one that I'm not too fond of." He glanced down at her with a small smile

She sighed, ¨sorry¨.

He shook his head "it's okay, we'll talk about it later when you've gotten more rest." He stood and scooped her up in his arms

she nodded softly.

Brink made his way up to their bed room afte rpeeking into the kid's room to find jacklyn asleep in one of the chairs. he smiled softly at the scene before shutting the door quietly and heading to their room, setting Vanessa down in the bed

Vanessa hissed she still had some sores.

"sorry, kitty." Brink settled next to her and gazed at her while lying on his side

¨You don´t have to stay¨ she said.

"you think I'm.leaving you.after all that? Not a chance kitty cat. Not a fat chance."

she nodded.

He sighed in relief and curled around her closely "my dearest cat. What in mayhams name am I going to do with you?"

¨Kill Me¨ she joked.

"that's not an option either." He kissed her brow

¨I KNow¨ she said.

He sighed softlyc gently pulling her close to his chest "you drive me insane."

¨"Sorry¨ she said.

"why? That's a good thing." He laughed and kissed her head. After a few moments of just laying there, he spoke again "why did you choose me?"

¨She looked at Him ¨What Do You Mean?¨ she asked.

"Why did you choose me of all people to be with, to marry, to have kids With, to love?"
