He nodded, and chuckled softly. He sat down to wait. Food. Food. Food. Food. the Demon chanted. He sighed.

Crystal came down in a black dress, with light pink flowers crawling up the side. Her red hair was in a side braid going over her shoulder, and she threw her shoes down the stairs, wearing light make up. She then slid down the stairs banister, hopped down, bowed and got on her shoes. She had on a few bracelets, and flower earrings to watch, and a fake gold rose choker, with a fake crystal in each center. She smoothed down her skirt and looked at you with a smile, as her sister descended the stairs in her overly extravagant purple and black dress, with a huge skirt, and way to much jewelry and make up on. Her mother wore a simple purple lace dress and a small hat with a large feather poking out of hit. Her brother came down in a suit that smelled like grease and animal fur. Crystal smiled at you and checked her makeup in the mirror once more, making sure it was perfect.
Winter smiled back, standing up. His suit was black, with a dove grey vest, and a white shirt, along with a tie the same color as his eyes. His hair was combed neatly to the side.
She watched as her family got their things together, standing awkwardly by you. "The carriage will be here soon, so make sure you all have your things." I nodded as my mother handed me a black fan with flowers all over it, and Lilli a black and purple one.
Winter looked at her. "I was almost half sure you were going to stand me up." He said with a small smile.
"Oh hush, I would never." She said with a grin. Even her fox had on a little tie and a rhinestone leash on. "Farra isn't coming but she wants to look fancy."
He smiled. "Alright then." He replied. He smiled at the little fox.
Soon they headed out to the carriage and were off. Her and her brother played footsy while Lilliana shot glares at you and huffed, seething with attitude. Her mother lectured us about the ball and being on our best behavior. Her hand rested on your thigh, not really doing anything.
Winter was quiet, looking out the window. He was very aware of her hand on his thigh, but didn't say anything about it.
