"You not minding isn't what's supposed to happen"
She says wrapping her arms around herself as she lowers her head, looking down at her feet.
Just because he "doesn't mind" doesn't make it right. It's supposed to be a mutual thing. And as far as she was concerned, she had already thought about it too much, and she's decided that she absolutely loves it. But you're crazy if you think she's gonna continue with him just "not minding".
"Then what is?" he demanded. "I don't exactly have…anything to base this off of. My parents didn't exactly have a good relationship, and if my father brought any girls home, he was more likely to beat and rape them then do anything else." he said, crossing his arms. "So where are you expecting me to pull this knowledge of what it means to care from? Reaper's don't have emotions. We aren't allowed to."
Flitching a bit at his words, she stayed there looking down at the ground.
"It's supposed to be consensual. Both of the people involved should feel the same. In this case, just not minding isn't enough. And I'm not saying I'm putting up my high standards, but how a good relationship is supposed to be….."
She trailed off
"Both of thems supposed to love whatever they're doing. And again, im not telling you to love it, or me in any way whatsoever. I'm just telling you what a good relationship is."
She says daring to look up to him.
Troy sighed softly, looking up at the sky. "I don't know what love is." He muttered. "I don't know what it feels like." He shook his head.
"Yeah I figured"
She says turning around, and walking away, down the path that they took earlier to get up here. She thought this was going to be a sweet, fun time. She was wrong
Troy let out an exasperated sigh, and followed her after a moment.
"Sorry, I'm just overthinking everything. You not having any experience or knowledge isn't bad or anything, nor is it your fault."
She says stopping and turning around to look at him, the setting sun glimmering on her face like frickin Edward from Twighlight.
"It's fine." He said softly, closing his eyes for a moment.
"Okay, well…..we should be heading home."
SHe says turning back around
"unless you want to stay here for a bit longer? Though its getting dark"
He nodded. "Let's go." He said softly, waiting so he could follow her back.
"oh okay"
She says kind of disappointed, but she continued to walk, entering the dark forest.
He was quiet as he followed her. Did I say something wrong? I was just trying to tell the truth. I didn't want to mislead her.
Gosh, I feel like such an idiot now! I sound like I'm trying to tell him to love! I hate myself
She thinks to herself as she steps over a bush, stepping on a root and falling over at her face.
Troy flinched when she fell, and knelt by her. "Are you alright?" He asked worriedly.
"Uh…..yeah, I'm fine. I just…. am probably tired that's all"
She says as she stands up, cursing herself for being so stupid.
He nodded, and stood. "Alright…if you say so." He said, following her when she started walking again.
"what? Do you not believe me?"
She says turning around with her arms crossed
He sighed. "No, i believe you." He replied, looking at her.
"good"
She said whipping around and walking away.
Soon they reached the end of the woods, reaching the end of the waterfall, a huge lake looking as if it was drifting off into the golden, crimson horizon.
Troy raised his eyebrows, letting out a soft whistle. "Beautiful view." He said softly, glancing at her, then the waterfall and lake.
"yeah"
She says as her eyes were glued to him. The light reflected off of the water and onto his face.
She loved how it effected his contours of his face, his eyes and his lips, along with his hair.
dang….
Troy looked over at her, and gave a soft smile.
Her face turning a bit red, she quickly looks away and steps towards the water with a sigh
He watched her quietly. She's beautiful…
Wading in the water, the sleepy sun shining golden on the rippling water around her, the water up to her mid-thighs as she turns around to look at him with a soft smile, waving her hand, motioning for him to come in to, a breeze rushing through her hair.
He smiled, and followed her, wading in after her. He walked over to her.
Looking at him with a little smile still, she walks backward, into the water, now waist-deep into the cold water.
He stopped when the watwr was knee deep, watching her go. "Don't drown." He said wryly.
"Dont worry, I don't feel like it tonight. Now come on wuss"
She says wading over to him with a little smile.
He sighed, and followed her out. "Fine."
