Troy watched her, to make sure she didn't accidentally fall off and die. That wouldn't be enjoyable. He didn't want to escort her soul to wherever she was going to go just yet.

Turning back to him, a huge stupid smile plastered on her face as she sat down, her feet hanging off of the edge.
She was definitely a daredevil and she knew that it would catch up to her someday.
She didn't seem to mind that until now though. She was always careless, having no care in the world, not minding if she died.
But now….. even though she was pretty sure she still didn't, she felt like she had something to live for, and she didn't want to let that go….. whatever it was.
"Sit down! Your legs must be aching from following me everywhere"
She says with a smile, patting the spot next to her.

Troy sighed, and sat down. "Fine." He said. He put an arm around her shoulders hesitantly. If she pulled away, he would put his arm down. No big deal. He bit his lip slightly.

Shocked by his actions, but not minding it at all. A little smile curved up her lips as she leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder.

Troy looked down at her, surprised. He hadn't actually expected her to do that.

"ah, sorry…."
She says leaning away a little bit, looking up at him with her ocean eyes, not wanting him to remove his arm though.

"It's alright." He said with a small smile, looking down at her.

"o-okay"
She says leaning against him once again, a little smile on her face as she held in a girly squeal that would've sounded like a little middle school girl when she heard anything about Justin Bieber.

He was quiet for a few minutes, then asked, slowly, "Why do you work for him? That man?"

"He reached out to me in a time of need, then….."
She paused, taking a deep breath, scooting closer to him.
"repaying him turned into guilt, and i think he noticed that, and he used that against me."
She says closing her eyes, enjoying his warmth, which wasnt there when he wasnt human.
"Now, its threats and money that keep me going"

Troy nodded. "Oh. I'm sorry." He said softly, looking down at her with his grey eyes.

"Pfft, it's fine"
She says with a shrug.
"So, have you ever been to a place like this?"
She asks softly.

He shook his head, taking in the view again. "No, i haven't." He said quietly, looking around.

Feeling his arm around her as she leaned on him, she once again felt so protected, cared for, and maybe even loved. She had to remind herself that this is the Grimm Reaper, but then a soft little voice told her something.
why should that matter? He's human anyway.
he doesn't even love you, why would love even be a chance for you?

He cleared his throat. "So uh, about this morning…" He trailed off, biting his lip nervously. I don't know what to say. But…we need to talk about it.

She says giving him a side glance
oh gosh, i knew he would say something. Hes going to push me away like everyone else.
Romantic or not, everyone had pushed her away….either that or they just left her.
Squeezing her eyes shut as she looks down at her hands, bracing herself, maybe jumping off the cliff from any further embarassment.

He sighed softly. "What…" He shook his head slightly. "Does that make…us?" He asked softly. I don't know how to say what I mean…what to say.

"I don't know"
She says pulling her knees up to her chest, resting her chin on her knees as her arms wrap around her legs.
She really didn't know. What even made them do that? It wasnt like they were in a relationship or anything.
She only knew him for about a week. Maybe they just got caught up in the moment.
But if that's the case, then…… why does her heart skip a beat and butterflies flutter around in her chest every time she thinks about him.

He nodded, and looked out at the view. "Alright." He said softly. Right. Damn. I shouldn't have…I should have pulled away from her, not kissed her. Then we wouldn't be in this position. But…if it was so bad to do, why does my heart beat quicker when i see her?

"I'm sorry…… I shouldn't have done anything like that."
She says with a rather muffled voice as she shoved her face into her arms.
why am I so stupid, I shouldn't have even gone near him.

"It's okay." Troy replied. "If it's anyone's fault, its mine." He said softly. "I…" He shook his head.

She didn't say anything, just turning her head to face him, her cheek against her knee, squishing it in an oddly cute way.

He shook his head. "Sorry." He said, looking at her for a moment. Why in the hell are you so adorable, Maylynn? It isn't fair.

"Don't be"
She says still looking at him, simply pulling a piece of hair behind her ear, revealing a simple, yet shiny diamond pierced into her ear.

He looked away, biting his lower lip slightly. His black hair was messy and sticking up every which way.

Looking at his face, his gorgeous grey eyes and his cute messy hair, she wanted to pull his face to hers and kiss him.

"Why did we though? Why did we do that in the first place?"
She says still looking up at him, her cheek squished still.

"I… don't know." He replied, looking at her. "You know more about being human than i do."

"so that was just because youre experiencing human emotions for the first time in a while."
She says immidiatly turned her head putting her legs down dangling off of the edge, hanging her head down as her hair fell in her face, clentching her fist a bit.
of course thats what happened. Why would it be any more than that? Idiot. Whyre you so stupid Maylynn

"I didnt say that." He said, frowning. "That's not what i said at all."

"Then what the hell was it then…..huh? Because this is honestly driving me crazy, and that's all i can think about the whole day."
She says turning her head to him with a genuinely confused look.
