"I'm gonna go take a shower," he pressed his lips against his forehead. "I won't be long."
"I'm gonna go take a shower," he pressed his lips against his forehead. "I won't be long."
Cas nodded and closed his eyes, gripping the sheets tightly when he heard the door close. He's just in the other room… he didn't leave… he's still right there, basically… He mentally talked himself down to keep from destroying the room again.
Sorin the dull tattoo on Sorin's bare chest was a reminder that he hadn't been active for four days. He sighed, turned the faucet and walked into the shower.
Cas just tried to fall asleep, trembling slightly. He's only showering… he'll be back soon… he promised he would, and angels can't lie, right?
Sorin took a few minutes to clean himself then got out. He threw on a pair of sweatpants and a plain shirt before he walked out of the bathroom, his hair still slightly wet.
Cas looked up when Sorin came in, hugging him tightly when he eventually got onto the bed.
Sorin wrapped his arms around him and rested his chin on top of his head.
Cas slowly managed to doze off in Sorin's arms, purring softly.
Sorin remained awake, not really feeling tired as he had just woken up a few hours ago. He watched him, softly stroking his thumb across his cheek.
Cas was still asleep when Kyoko came into the room a few minutes later.
"What's up?" Sorin asked, keeping his voice as quiet as he could.
"I'm gonna be out for a few hours," before he asked why, she said, "Asa has a doctor's appointment." He nodded and watched as she turned around to leave but halted and spun back around. "Behave. Both of you."
Cas stirred a bit, whining, but not waking up yet. He huddled closer to Sorin.
He held Cas in his arms and nuzzled his hair that smelled lightly of cinnamon.
A few minutes after Kyoko left, Cas woke up with a soft yawn. He seemed to like sleeping periodically throughout the day sometimes, like a cat. "Hi, love…" He murmured, remembering what had happened before he fell asleep.
Sorin tapped the tip of his nose and smiled. "Hey, beautiful."
Cas purred and grinned like an idiot, hugging Sorin tightly. His ears twitched a bit when he did so.
"Sleep well?" He stroked him.
"Mhmm. What time is it?" Cas yawned again and glanced around, looking for a clock.
Sorin reached for his phone on the nightstand and turned it on. "Like, 11:34."
"Cool… what're we supposed to do here?" Cas huddled closer to Sorin.
He shrugged. "I don't know… what do you want to do?"
"Are there options or do I just pick a random thing?"
"Hmm…" Sorin thought about taking him out of the house to give him a tour of where he's lived most of his life. But then again, this place was almost just as dangerous as human territory, even though there were rarely any here. "You pick."
"Well… the cat things are somewhere, right?" Cas asked, still not wanting to refer to them as toys.
"Oh right," Sorin got up and grabbed the bag from under the bed. "You want 'em?"
"Uh…" Cas seemed to lose his voice, staring at the bag intently as his tail swished behind him.
Sorin dug into the bag and pulled out a yarn ball. He waved it around in front of Cas with a smile on his face.
Cas meowed lowly, sounding almost like he was growling. He sat perfectly still.
"I'll give this to you," he lifted his arm a bit. "On one condition."
"What is it?" Cas asked softly, his eyes still fixed on the ball.
