This is one I heard awhile ago and still think about it. Here's one I wrote.

and that's why free pizza is canceled

It’s like I don’t know you anymore.

he stepped forward, and then he jumped

A shriek forced its way out. silence.

"Yeet," he said as he let go

death caused a ripple in her life

The ripple overflowed her with too many memories

and soon, it all became too much

Taking her life, and taking her soul

And it was all just too soon.

The shadows consumed me with Nothing. (Also I know this is totally depressing but the title does say "7 word sad story" so here it is lol)
