I’m super bored and don’t have anything to do for a few days so I decided to make yet another RP (I swear that I’m done after this) since I’m obsessed with Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and my love for it has come back in full force recently. Anywaaaays, onto the part you probably clicked on this for:

Recently, you’ve been having strange dreams. You’ve dreamt about Wonderland like the one in AAIW, but you soon realize that whatever happens to you in your Wonderland dreams comes with you to real life. For example, if you get hurt there, you wake up injured in the same spot (like a bruise or broken bone). You don’t know how to make the dreams stop and they keep getting increasingly dangerous, but one day you wake up with a mark signifying your place in the story and a mission: To fix Wonderland, you have to meet up with the others and find the rabbit hole in the real world. The note that has appeared (detailing your mission) tells you that once you do this and slay the Jabberwocky, you will be released from the strange dreams and a normal teenager once more. But until then, you have to survive your dreams and the magic that slowly seeps into your world.

Here’s the note that you receive:
Dear (insert name here),
The magic of Wonderland has seeped from mere dreams and fantasies into the waking world—your world—and if you don’t stop it, then your world will be consumed. The Jabberwocky is at the center and life force of this disturbance, so to fix your world, you must slay it.
But you are not alone. In order to enter Wonderland to slay the Jabberwocky, you must find the Rabbit Hole in your world. The only way it will reveal itself to you is if you have the five cursed with dreams together:
One, the adventurer with a flower on their hand.
Two, the trumpeter with a rabbit on their hand.
Three, the genius with a caterpillar on their hand.
Four, the vanisher with a cat on their hand.
And finally five, the seer with a teacup on their hand.
Meet all five together and the portal will open.

Rules are andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s rules. I’d like to keep this about PG-13 level, so nothing too violent or steamy. Swearing is fine, and romance is encouraged.

So each character gets the mark of a character from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, as well as a power that corresponds with their Wonderland character. So the spots are:

Alice (the adventurer):

Power: They know which way to go, and lead the others in the right direction. They also can tell how close the Jabberwocky or other enemies are.

Name: Alexander Owens
Age (I’m thinking they’re all mid-teens?): 16
Wonderland Character: White Rabbit
Gender: male (I feel like a lot of my characters recently have been guys lol)
Sexuality: pan
Appearance: Alexander has light caramel blond hair that is curly. His eyes are a light blue-green and he has a sprinkling of freckles across his nose and cheeks. He has pale skin and is on the shorter side (5’ 3”). He has round, Harry Potter-like glasses and slightly chubby cheeks, making him a bit baby-faced. Constantly doodles a rabbit on the back of his hand with a sharpie.
Personality: Alexander is shy, preferring to get to know people before opening up, and even then he isn’t the most open person. He likes to read and play the trumpet in the school band. Alexander is fairly smart and quick on the uptake, except with anything to do with romance, since he is easily flustered. He’s a kind person.
Backstory: Alexander lives with his father, his step-mother, and his half-sister Mary Anne. He never met his mother, and his father got married when he was six. Mary Anne is seven years younger than him, at 9.

Appearance: Long messy ginger hair, gray eyes, and fair skin, with freckles all over her face. Has a flower shaped birthmark on her right hand
Personality: A bit weird, creative, brave, confident, smart, good at thinking on her feet, imaginative
Backstory: Anna lives a fairly normal life, usually found daydreaming or doodling or writing in the back of the class, occasionally talking to a person.

Name: Maddison Henderson (Maddie, Mads)
Age (I’m thinking they’re all mid-teens?): 16
Wonderland Character: Mad Hatter
Gender: Female
Sexuality: bi
Appearance: short wavy platinum blonde hair, one icy blue eye and one warm green, about 5’7”, minor overbite and slightly gap-toothed, has a tilted teacup and saucer tattooed on the back of her left hand,
Personality: very loud and energetic, no filter; literally says the first thing that comes to her mind, can be a bit overwhelming/overbearing, though once you get to know her… it's a front. Genuinely loves hats.
Backstory: Her mom and little brother died due to complications at childbirth, her dad started drinking when she was 8, determined to not let anyone know something was wrong at home, she started acting completely crazy in public.
Other: gets bad headaches when she's about to see the future, tea is so far the only thing that helps. (let me know how you plan on the future vision thing working out in the story. I've never done a power like this before.)

Name: Kai Withers
Age (I’m thinking they’re all mid-teens?): 17
Wonderland Character: Chesire Cat
Gender: Male, FTM
Sexuality: Bi as a pie
Appearance: Kai is of average height and weight, his looks are quite average too. His hair is a dull blond and his eyes are brown. The only eye-catching things he has are his scars which are everywhere.
Personality: Kai is… Usually quite nice, if you get to know him, which is hard to do. He often shuts out everyone, as he believes if he lets them close they'll make fun of him for everything.
Backstory: When Kai was 13, he got into a major car accident, his older sister and his twin died in it. He and his parent's survived, the two adults came out with minor injuries, but Kai, Kai came out with scars both mental and Physical.
Other: At times, it is extremly hard for him to walk.

Now we just need to wait for the Caterpillar!

Name: Locke Reen
Age (I’m thinking they’re all mid-teens?): 15
Wonderland Character: Catipiler.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi
Appearance: Dark brown hair, blue eyes, wears glasses, around 6 foot, wears formal clothes, skinny
Personality: Calm and collected, doesn't use emotions much but isn't cold,
Backstory: He was a social outcast and still is. People don't like talking to him because he is never emotionally there so everyone avoids him. His mom and dad are at work most of the time so he barely sees them.
Other: (I might add more stuff later.)

Alexander woke up from the reoccurring dream he had been having recently drenched in sweat. He reached his hand up to feel his cheek, expecting to feel his skin, just like normal, but he could actually feel where the tree had scratched him as he ran. He felt his stomach drop. That wasn’t normal, and neither was the note that certainly hadn’t been on his desk before.

Glancing at the alarm clock, Alexander saw it was only ten minutes before he was supposed to wake up for school anyway, so he first went to put a band-aid on his cheek, hoping his dad would think it was from…he wasn’t sure. It wasn’t like he played any sports. At least the mark wasn’t too big.

The next thing he did was turn on the lamp he had on his nightstand, shedding light on the note his dream said would there. Alexander’s heart was pounding as he read. This couldn’t be happening to him. He was the average somewhat-nerdy kid; he wasn’t supposed to get sucked into other-dimensional problems. Was Wonderland another dimension? His head hurt just thinking about it. Just then his alarm clock went off and he jumped, before turning it off.

Alexander got ready for school just like usual, trying to pretend nothing out of the ordinary had happened. He managed to evade any questions about his new injury, and got out of the door quickly. He started his crappy old car, and looked at the clock. “Oh shit! I’m going to be late!” he muttered. “Again.”

He hurried off towards his highschool, parking in the parking lot. Just before he walked inside, he found a website where people could post things about weird occurrences, and wrote a quick summary about what had happened to him. Maybe someone will come forward and say this happened to them too, he thought. Then I can know I’m not going crazy.

Then the bell rang, jolting him from his thoughts. He was officially late. The universe had an annoying sense of humor.

Locke sat up quickly as he woke up from the dream. He was panting heavily. He felt his arms burn. He pulled up the sleeve of his pj's and found a scrape he had gotten from falling off a small cliff. He sighed and got up, noticing the noteam at the foot of his bed. He set the note on his desk before going to the bathroom and wraping up his arm.
When Locke came out he read the note. He sighed as finished the note. "Flower, Rabbit, Cat, and Teacup." He repeated. He looked at the blue caterpillar he doodled on the baxk of his hand. "And I'm the Caterpilliar." He reread the note again before setting it down.
He had woken up in plenty of time to get to school so he decided to get on his computer for a bit. Locke scanned over a website that people posted about the supernatural and weird on. He scanned over it before seeing a post about an experience someone had similar to him. He pricate messaged the person.
"Hey. I have had a experience very similar to yours. Would you be willing to share your experience and I will share mine?" He sent.
He then proceeded to get ready for school. Hi's parents weren't home, like usual so he wouldn't get any quistions. He quickly got ready before heading out the door. He only live a few blocks away from the school do he walked quite a bit.
Locke entered the school and got to his class early. He was in junior classes even though they were incredibly easy for him. He sat down and opened the book he had brought with him. "I should get Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland." He mummbled. That way he could prepare himself.

Anna woke up, looking down at the cut on her leg from the dream. "Goddamit…" She muttered, reaching for the first aid kit she had learned to keep by the bed. She patched herself up, and reached under her pillow. Her dream said something would be under there. She pulled out a folded letter. Everything leaking over to the letter. But she didn't have time to read it right then. Because she would be late again otherwise.

She threw herself together, hair in a high, messy pony tail, teeth hastily brushed, an oversized cardigan and tee shirt dwarfing her upper body, and skinny jeans bunched up in random spots. She slipped on her beat up sneakers, grabbing the letter and her bag before rushing out of the door.

When she did get to school, she went straight to class, taking her back seat and finally opening the letter.

During first hour, it was hard for Alexander to concentrate. Having algebra in his first class of the day meant it was hard enough to pay attention normally, but the dream gnawed at him until he finally raised his hand to go the bathroom, just so he could check the website.

Once he had been released from class, he got on his phone the second the bathroom door swung shut. The knot in his stomach increased as he saw that he had gotten a private message. He quickly typed up a response:

Yeah, but first I need to make sure that you’re serious. What dream did you have last night?

Alexander had gone talked about the note and the reoccurring dream, but hadn’t gone into much detail about exactly what the dream entailed beyond something vague about the Lewis Carroll book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. If whoever it was could answer that question, it would at least help some of Alexander’s anxiety. As he stared at the screen, he was struck by how dumb his username was, having made it up on the spot.

I can’t believe that time-is-chasing-me was the best I could come up with, he sighed inwardly. Oh well. At least it’s better than the crap I came up with when I was like twelve. He hoped the person who had messaged him would reply soon, so he could have some kind of confirmation before he had to go back to class.
