Tundra let out a quiet sigh before she turned around and then cautiously stepped out of the alley she had been hiding in. She kept her distance from the others as she spoke quietly, but with a cold edge, "I was just passing by. No spying here."
(I'm seeing all these puns, good job.)
“And I’m completely sane,” Quentin replied sarcastically, his voice dripping with contempt. “Nice of you drop by, Tundra darling. You never seem to have anything to say to us unless you’re caught spying, you know. It would be nice if you’d play a game of croquet with me every once and a while.”
"Hm, you do only come by only to spy. To bad we're coming back with you to princess land." Adis hissed, orgetting that he didn't tell the others that.
Acacia rolled her eyes at Quentin ”Maybe no that but you really should hang out with us. It must be boring up in that icy tower your mothers locked you in, ” she says smirk still on her face.
Tundra was about to retort to Gothel's daughter's comment when she heard the son of Hades say something more interesting. She walked a bit closer to the other kids, "What do you mean go back to princess land? Do you mean we're going to Auredon?"
"That's the news Papa told me, I would usually say no, but since it'll annoy you I'm coming. You all are forced to come too, your parent's will probably make you."
Emmeline’s brows shot into her hair, quickly turning to face the young prince of the dead. ”Wait! We're what?!?”
"Yup, I'm getting my good hair back. And my magic." Adis checked his watch and frowned. "By the way, the car should be coming in a few minutes."
Acacia’s eyes widened. ”why wasn't I told about this?” She demanded. ”I have to go talk to Mother and pack a bag. There's no way I can't go.”
Tundra started to grin. Finally, she was getting out of this hell hole! Then she heard Hades' boy's last comment, "Wait that soon? And how come your the only one that seems to know about this?"
"Magic." He said sarcasticly, doing jazz hands. "My papa hears all the news and tells me it."
“Ooh! I can’t wait!” Quentin exclaimed with glee. “It will be so nice to talk to some refined people for a change! I have to pack! I can’t go anywhere without my croquet set or my backup crown!”
(that was rly late lol sorry i was eating)
"Fine," Tundra accepted his answer, for now at least. She needed to go and bid her mother goodbye. Wait her books, she needed to make sure she had her books with her. She was sure the library over there would have more books. But her books were her books. She didn't bother to say goodbye as she rushed off back home to grab what she could.
Emmeline crossed her arms with a scowl, ”You are completely infuriating, Adis.”
She wouldn't show it yet, but the prospect of getting her magic back was beyond her best dreams. Though she agreed with Acacia, also needing to back. She didn't say anything more, just marching back to her mother's home to pack quickly.
"I like surprises as well as the next god." He smirked, dashing into the tower and coming out with a large sythe.
”Well it was since I hope to see none of you at the car, ” Acacia calls as she quickly walked off.
Quentin rolled his eyes. “Fat chance of that,” he muttered. “I suppose I should go pack now, so ta ta!” He strolled in the other direction.
Once she was certain no one else could see her, Emmeline broke into a full-on run. Her mother preferred to live a bit more isolated from the busier parts of the Isle. She had a few theories as to why her maman made that choice but she never brought them up. Finally, she approached the door and immediately told her what had just happened and began to pack.
Once at the house Acacia tells her mother about what happened. They both immediately start to pack her a bag.
Quentin and his mother had an heated debate even though they had more or less the same opinion on the subject, which wasn’t out of the ordinary. He packed his things quickly and haphazardly, but managed to fit everything he needed into one bag.
Kiro sat in the back of a rather large ominous looking vehicle. Annoyed per usual at his current predicament. Why he was being forced to leave this perfectly good isle was beyond him, but the prospect of getting his magic back had been to much to pass up. His body ached to feel the wind under it once more. Not that he would tell anyone about that.
Kiro sighed, glancing down at his watch for what seemed like the hundredth time. "They're late." He muttered, tapping a long thin finger against his knee, the only sign of his anxious need to get past the barrier.
“Who’s late?” Quentin asked, appearing beside the vehicle with his bag. He grinned.
Once Tundra arrived home, she found out her mother had already found out and had packed her books already. Tundra grabbed the bag before hugging her mom. It probably would be a long time before they would see each other again. After saying there good byes, Tundra ran down to where the vehicle was supposed to be. She couldn't wait to get off the isle. Upon arrival she spotted the son of Maleficent and the son of the Queen of Hearts, and she said nothing to add to their conversation and got in the car.
Acacia walked to the Vehicle with an old suitcase, backpack, and purse. She put her suitcase in the trunk and got into the car staying as far from Tundra as possible.
Emmeline wasn't one for material possessions, so the actual packing didn't take long. It was more the run to and from the edge of the Forbidden Forest than anything. Once finished, she really only had one bag full of necessities and a small bundle of books. Before she left her mother gave Emmeline her emerald ring and a confusing bit of advice.
Since she didn't have time to argue she simply said, ”Je t'aime, maman.”
Fortunately she was not the last to arrive.
Kiro stayed silent, looking down his pert nose at the others that crammed themselves into the car. He couldn't wait to get out of here. This nonsense was only necessary for the time being. Once they reached the outside world he would wreak havoc upon anything. That's what magic was for right? At least, that what he used his for.
Quentin put his stuff in the back and got in as well, a bit excited if truth be told. Living with his mother was actually quite stifling, in his opinion, and he was ready to experience something new.
"Ugh, I want to get out of here so bad!" Adis had gotten into the car without anyone noticing, somehow. Their eyes were shining with excitement and they had their scythe strapped to their back alon with a few books and other things.
