He kissed back and slipped the ring on Jas’s finger. “Perfect fit.”

He smiled down at the ring "when did you have time to get this one?" He asked

“I got it before you were my boyfriend,” he smiled. “Do you like it?”

He nodded and kissed Nick's cheek "you're annoying, you that, right?"

“Yep,” he chuckled. “Seriously I’m starving can we go get something to eat or can you cook?”

"I'll cook, I have no money on me." He laughed and stood "I was gonna propose to you, you did the promise ring and I was gonna do the engagement ring." He whined, opening up a breach and stepping through

“Propose to me then,” he smirked walking through the breach.

"don't worry love, soon." He teased, appearing at the institute "when will your sister and friends be gone?"

“They might be gone knowing my sister. I’ll go check. Wait here,” he stated and opened a gate to his apartment. No one was home so we went back to Jas. “They’re gone.”

"wow, that was quick," he followed Nick up to his apartment

He nodded as they reached his apartment. “You better make something good because I’m hungry!” He yelled and stretched himself out on the couch.

"ah, I will but you're helping." he took nick's hand in his and pulled him off the couch "come on!"

“Whaaaa~ whyyyy,” he wines.

"Cuz! It's fun! now c'mon or you don't get dinner" He pulled Nick up and guided him to the kitchen

“It’s too early in the morning for dinner! Because you’re my fiancé I’ll help you out. What are we making anyway?” He asked cracking his fingers.

"fine, breakfast then." He said with a smile "crack four egg into the bowl" he instructed, reaching up a few plates and bowls

“Alright…” he took four eggs and crack them one by one with one hand while yawning. “What next?”

"show off," jas muttered with a smile "alright so now we mic these and add some ham while I make batter."

He nodded and did as he said. It didn’t take him long so Nick ended up waiting for Jas to finish.

Jas finished making the batter "looks good. Now that goes in a pan with some butter while these gonint he waffle maker."

He fallowed the orders given. “What else?”

He glanced over Nick's shoulder "now you stir until they're all cooked." He kissed Nick's cheek and went back to pouring in the waffles

“Alright,” he stored until it cooked just like Jas said to do. “When did you learn how to cook?”

"hm? Oh when I was still living with my parents. I used to cook all the time since Mom was busy with work and dad was always drunk." He said, focused on the waffles

“Oh alright, how are your parents now?” He asked. “If it’s not too personal.”

"mom's great, still.living with Aunty Glee." He said with a small smile

“I’m glad to hear that and your dad,” Nick bit his lip.

Jas swallowed hard "he's dead." He said softly, flipping the raffle machine to cook the other side
