So so. I’ve been reading some theology and hoping I can change my life so as to become a far better person. One of those things that’s is necessary but very hard, and makes one see one’s own faults rather more clearly than any would like.

I'd like to point out that you're already a very, very good person, but by all means don't let that stop you from progressing as a person.
I'm no theologist but I believe in the human soul, whether it's simply a theoretical concept of values a person stands for, and an air they give off, or whether it's a literal spirit deep within the vehicle of their flesh. Anyway you got this my guy

I might be alright as a person. But my faults are more prominent than I would like. But I know that God had the power to make me far greater if I let him.
