Sorin set him down gently and held his hand as they walked inside.

Cas tried to pull his hand away, but Sorin was gripping him tightly enough that he couldn't. His tail flicked in irritation, and he still hadn't said a word to Sorin.

Sorin bent down to kiss him, but pulled away on account to all the blood surround his mouth. He let go of his hand, knowing he had to give Cas some space while he tended to his wound. Though, he hoped that when– if he started talking to him, it wouldn't start with an argument.

Cas sat down on the couch quietly and crossed his arms again, staring at the wall. He betrayed me… he locked me in a damn shed and look what happened? He got himself hurt!

Sorin walked up the stairs and to their bedroom. He took of his grey, blood-stained tee and cringed at the gruesome sight. Blood was oozing out nonstop, but the hole was getting smaller at least due to his quick healing abilities. He grabbed a few bandages and small wet towels to clean and wrap the injury before he went downstairs.

Cas was still sitting where Sorin had left him, his ears turned back. He was clearly pissed right now and it would take some coaxing to get him to forgive Sorin.

"Cas, you can't stay mad at me forever." He leaned against the hand rail of the stairs, crossing his arms over his bandage covered chest.

"You locked me in a fucking shed." Cas said sharply, still refusing to look at Sorin.

Well at least he's talking. "What part of 'it's for your own good' do you not understand?" he ran his fingers through his hair. "Goddammit Cas, I did this for you!"

"You tricked me into going in there! You knew that I didn't want to leave you here alone, and look what fucking happened! You got hurt! You forced me to abandon you knowing that it was physically painful for me to do something like that!" Cas stood up, glaring at Sorin with tears in his eyes.

"And what? You wanted me to leave you here with her in the house? Cas, this," he pointed his thumb to his chest. "is nothing compared to the possibility of you getting hurt by her."

"Yes! I wanted to help you, and you knew it! You manipulated me, and honestly, sometimes that hurts more than physical wounds." The tears rolled down his cheeks, flushed with anger. "I was fucking terrified that she'd kill you, and there was nothing I could do about it because you locked me in a god damn shed."

"That's what drove me to do that in the first place. My fear of her getting her hands on you Cas," his face turned a bright red. "I'm an angel fighting the mother of demons and even I don't stand a chance. She would've destroyed you."

"I don't care if she hurts me or even kills me! I'd rather die trying to help you than live as a coward who hid when someone I loved needed me the most!" Cas's tears came down faster, and he was trembling from both crying and anger. "B-Because I love you, and I'm not about to just abandon you when you need me like my mother abandoned me!" He fell down to his knees and hid his face in his hands, crumbling to sobs.

Sorin went over and sat down next to him. "Hey," he pulled him into a warm hug. "It's okay, i'm okay. You didn't abandon me, I put you there– and for good reason." He kissed the top of his head.

Cas shakily drew in quick, shallow breaths as he hugged Sorin tightly. His sobbing didn't stop, nor did his trembling. "I… I-I wouldn't wish that upon anyone…" His voice faltered and broke as he buried his face in Sorin's chest.

Sorin winced as he rubbed at his wound but didn't let Cas see it. He only held him tighter. "I'm sorry I left you in there."

Cas thought for a moment. "I forgive you…" He murmured. "Just… p-please don't do it again…"

"I won't," he wasn't so sure about it though but if it meant he would be happy… "I won't leave you alone."

"We can… we can both run from her together…" Cas nuzzled against Sorin's chest. His tears slowed, and he seemed to be drained from yelling and crying.

Sorin stroked his hair. "We can. But where would we go?"

"I dunno… I know where my old street hideout is. It's where I've lived for the past three years." Cas purred, though his purr was raspy and very quiet.

He didn't like the sound of that. Sorin would rather be there on his own then to watch Cas shiver on the ground. "I don't know, Cas… Are you sure it's a good place?"

"Yeah, it's just in the back of an abandoned alley. I've got an old mattress to sleep on, and my cats keep me warm." Cas yawned a bit before his purring resumed.

"Oh really? Tell me more," he caressed his face and lightly stroked his ear. Maybe Auriya wouldn't be so bad. But Cas probably wouldn't be comfortable with the idea of moving to a whole 'nother country. He had to think of an alternative.

Cas pushed his head into Sorin's hand, shivering a bit when his ear was touched. His ears, at least his cat ears, were incredibly sensitive. "It's… um… I have a cooler for… for keeping food and water in…" He stammered, not quite as coherent as usual due to the petting.

"And what else?" He continued to lightly stroke his ear.

Cas started trembling slightly, his purring getting louder. "Uh… I've got boxes for… gen… general storage…"

He brushed his nose on the top of his head. "Is that all?"

"P-Pretty much…" Cas's face grew redder and he closed his eyes.
