"I was homeschooled by my dad, which clearly didn't do me much good. As for friends… not really. Just the alley cats." He finished his sandwich and sighed quietly.

@Fraust

Cas sipped his water and nodded. "My mom abandoned me pretty much as soon as I was born, so my dad raised me alone. Raised being used loosely."

@Bananapudding

"Oh… I'm sorry, Cas," Sorin finished up the rest of his sandwich and sighed. "My father wasn't all that great either. He always favored my brothers, more specifically Michael."

@Fraust

"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault… we finally had one too many arguments and I'd had enough. I left." Cas lay back on the blanket. "Did you have a mother? Well, obviously you had to be born, but you know what I mean…"

@Fraust

"Huh… so is God like, your dad then? I don't think he'd show favoritism like you were saying, though…"

@Bananapudding

"He tries not to make it obvious, but I know he does. If he loved me-" Sorin stopped himself, he couldn't display his emotions at a time like this, especially in front of Cas.

@Fraust

Cas shook his head. "During the fight, I told him I was leaving. I'm a man of my word and he didn't care enough to try and get me to come back, so I didn't."

@Bananapudding

"I'm sorry you had to live like that Cas…" he lied down on his back. "Mine didn't either. Well, except with me, I didn't leave; he kicked me out."

@Bananapudding

"Falling in love with her wasn't something that was exactly allowed up there," he pointed towards the now dark blue sky. "I was her guardian angel."

@Fraust

"Ah… why was she able to sense me through the phone, though?" He asked, looking back out on the pond to watch some ducks.

@Fraust

Cas gave off a low growl as he watched the geese; not directed at Sorin, of course. He looked like he might jump up and start chasing them at any moment.

@Fraust

"Is it strange that I have to fight a strong desire to kill those geese?" Cas asked softly, his tail swaying as he kept his eyes fixed on the birds.
