She scratched her head carrying her suitcase. “Where is it again?” Melody’s tilted her head looking at her phone. “Right here I guess…” Melody walked into the building biting her lip as she pressed the 17 floor button. She found her room immediately and went inside to see stuff on the floor that she knew wasn’t hers. “Is anyone here?!”

(I actually decided to use a different character, her name is Evangeline)
Evangeline poked her head out of her room. "Oh hello! You must be my roommate?"

(That’s fine!)
“I think so…” Melody looked around the floor. “What happened here a tornado?” She sighed placing her stuff on her bed.

Evangeline giggled a little. "My little sister came with me to get settled in. I set my bags down and went to my room to take a nap. I thought my mom took her, but she must not have. My little sister's a little… destructive. She got out of her room and started cleaning up the mess.

“Wow, well thank god j thought you were a messy roommate!” Melody giggled and started unpacking. “Anyway, what’s your name?”

Evangeline smiled. "My name is Evangeline, but you are welcome to call me Eva or Gel or anything else you can come up with. What about you?" She was moving the mess into her room and bathroom, basically unpacking without the 'un'.

“My name is Melody. You can call me whatever you want. Is it okay if I call you Evan?” She asked shyly putting her clothes away.

"Oh of course! Nice to meet you, Melody!" Evangeline hadn't finished putting all of her stuff away, but she was starving. "Hey, Mel? Are you hungry?" She yelled from her room since they were now in different rooms.

“A little yeah…” her stomach growled at her. “Okay yeah I am. Why?”
