Ashkit shivered a bit and moved closer to Thunderkit, curling up against him for warmth. A water droplet fell on his nose, making it twitch. Then another, and another. Ashkit sneezed and woke up to see that it had begun to rain. He cowered away a bit, storms always having scared him. He hated loud noises, and lightning had almost struck the nursery before. He turned his ears back, moving away from the entrance of the den.
"No…." Thunderkit moaned in his sleep as a water droplet fell on his face. "No!" jumping up, he looked rather shocked and confused. Frantically looking around, his eyes landed on Ashkit, "What are you doing?"
Ashkit sneezed again and looked up at Thunderkit, still cowering on the ground. "W-what do you mean?"
"Where are you going?" He said, refreshing what he said a few seconds ago.
"I'm not going anywhere! Ah!" There was a loud clap of thunder and Ashkit hid his face in his paws, shaking.
Sighing, Thunderkit quickly padded over to Ashkits side. "Let's go back to the nursery, I now Snowkit and Frostkit will be wondering where we are."
"But it's storming!" Ashkit peeked out from behind his paws. "What if we get hit by lightning?!"
"Lighting will not look down at us and say 'Oh look! Two kits! lets hit them!' and plus, if we run really really fast, we'll get there in no time!" Nudging him forward, he took his place beside him to block the strong winds from blowing his brother away.
Ashkit dug his claws into the ground, looking fearfully at the storm, but he eventually dashed after Thunderkit.
Passing the fresh-kill pile, he darted by the warrior's den before coming to a stop at the foot of the nursery, "C'mon Ashkit! Frostkit is playing moss-ball with his sister!"
Ashkit slipped on the wet ground in his attempt to stop, causing him to fall. He sneezed again before pulling himself to his paws, shivering.
Thunderkit was slightly stunned at his brothers failed attempt to stop himself from falling. Racing out the shelter of the den, he quickly grabbed his brother by the scruff and pulled him back to the safety of the den. "You better no be sick," he blurted, letting him go, "Or another wise I'll have to drag you back to the medicine den."
It was pouring outside at this point, and Ashkit was soaking wet. He shook out his fur, trying to get dry. Ashkit stepped away from the den entrance, wanting to get away from the storm.
"Let get you to Oakfur, she'll clean you up." Passing Snowkit, a pure white she-cat, Oakfurs large black head pocked up behind Birchstripes brown tabby pelt.
"What happened to you!?" She exclaimed, racing over to the even more tinnier Ashkit, "You're soaked through!" She then began frantically licking him.
"W-we had to run through the storm, mama." Ashkit leaned against Oakfur, trembling.
"We slept in the medicine cat den.." Thunderkit confessed, racing up to his mother's side, "Uhh… Can we eat?" he looked down at her belly.
(Should we all play as Oakfur until the person that made her come back on?)
(Sure, idk who owns them. Was it Abigail Dara? Because they deleted their account.)
(Ok, WE'RE ALL GOING TO BE OAKFUR!! :D
(And it seems we're going to have to play as Foxstar as well)
(You what to play as her?)
(Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I guess I can. We should probably find someone to rp them at some point though)
"Of course, Thunderkit." Oakfur lay down, and Ashkit curled up next to her, sneezing every once in a while. He wasn't very hungry, just cold and tired.
Finding warmth in his mothers milk, Thunderkit set himself besides Ashkit, just so he would have an extra fur ball warming him. 'Please don't be sick', he thought, glancing at him.
Time skip to when the rains end!
(Should Ashkit get sick?)
(Sure! then he'll have to stay in the med-cat den and Finchpaw can teach him more about herbs! And when should Finchpaw get her warrior name, and when should we switch over to her Point of View)
(Yeet. Um, we were planning on killing off Silverbrook, right? I'd guess in a couple moons, when Ashkit's about 6 moons and Finch is about 12)
(Ok, so in the next two chapters? Aka - character switch?)
(Yeah sure)
Ashkit woke up still shivering and sneezing. I'm fine. You know too much about herbs to truly believe that. Yeah, I know… cold maybe? I should leave the others alone, I'll get over it. He stood up and made to walk off, but tripped over Oakfur's tail, letting out a sharp meow as he fell, coughing.
