"Well…I don't want it." Green eyes.
"You're gonna have it." Black eyes.
"I already told him no. He's not gonna bring it." Green eyes.
"Ugh, fine. Fuck you." Black eyes.

It was a risk, but one Grace was willing to take. One deep breath later, Grace got up and walked over to the girl. "Hey… you alright there?"

The girl looked up, her eyes green. "No, I'm fine. Really. You don't need to worry yourself in a stranger's problems."

"Well, there have been some… strange behaviours that I've noticed recently. Care to explain?" Grace asked.

The girl's eyes turned black. "Why should I tell you? You're a complete stranger, I don't know you. Do you just expect me to spill all my secrets just because you asked the fucking question?"

"Hmm… by any chance would you be 'Crow'?" Grace asked, noticing the change in eye colour.

"Who wants to know?" Crow spat. "I don't need to tell you fuck all. So you can fuck off." Green eyes again.
"I'm so sorry."

"Sorry? You don't by any chance happen to have DID or something of that sort, do you?" Grace wondered aloud.

_{(that sentence doesn't make sense so idk what she's really trying to say .it seems like there's a random 'did' in the sentence that makes it kinda confusing)}

(oh ok sorry i misunderstood. it just looked like you'd capitalised 'did' for no reason)
"No, I don't have that," The girl replied, eyes green. "It's something a lot more complicated. It's not a mental disorder."

(oh that's no problem.)

"Then who's 'Crow'?" Grace questioned, confusion sparkling in her eyes.

"I can't tell you that," The girl started, trailing off. Her green eyes were casted down, avoiding the other girl's gaze.

"I-" Grace started, then realized neither of them knew the other's name. "Oh, sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Grace! And you are…" Grace said brightly.

"Kass. My name is Kass." Kass replied, not saying much else. She didn't like to get involved with people. They always got hurt or left her alone.

"Alright Kass! Now that we've properly introduced ourselves," Grace was saying as she slid down into the empty seat directly across from Kass. "It's time for you to answer my question. Who's Crow?" she repeated.

"I told you, I can't tell you that," Kass repeated. "Please stop pressuring me to tell you. I won't."

"Well, then. Why don't you tell me about the extra fancy necklace of yours?" Grace questioned.

"It's not that fancy," Kass said, looking down. "It's just a simple black pendant. Nothing special."

"You sure? I've noticed some unusual behaviours about that necklace," Grace inquired.

"I told you, it's nothing special. It's just a black crystal." Her green eyes tried to force her lie.

"Kass, you're a bad liar. You're obviously lying, just let it all out," Grace said, eyes narrowed now.

Kass' switched to black. "I don't have to tell you anything," She spat. "I've just met you, who fucking cares if I know your name. That doesn't mean anything."

"Ah ha! Crow! Fine then, what's your favourite colour?" Grace asked, eyes wide with anticipation.

Her eyes narrowed, glaring. She began to ignore the other person, sipping down her drink.

"I'm gonna sit here until you answer then," Grace replied.

"You're gonna be waiting a long time then," Crow said. Under the table, they used magic to refill their drink.

Grace waited patiently, watching Crow. She fiddled her thumbs beneath the table out of sight while she waited.

Crow glared at Grace while they drank the last of their refilled drink. They stood up and walked over to the bar, grabbing a beer. They walked outside, and used their magic to fly up to the roof, legs hanging over.

Grace followed Crow. "Are you going to stay up there forever?" she called out.
