At that, Amatiel retreated into silence, dimming his light until he was nothing more than a ripple in the air.

To Jay, the room felt weird now, and becuase he didnt want to piss off any cryptids he said. "Sorry."
Amatiel pursed his lips, though he didn't say anything else. Maybe it was better to simply observe this man in his natural habitat, maybe find out who his Amatiel was.
Jay just shrugged and pulled out his phone, pulling up his video site and turning on some anime he really liked, smilling a bit when the theme song came on.
Their initial instinct is to end their life, thinking they are too far gone.
(this was the plan, right?)

(this was the plan, right?)
(Yup, I was going to wait for another response then start grtting him up to the roof.)
(Oookay my bad ^^')
Amatiel scooched closer to the couch to watch the TV with this man, leaning his head onto the couch a few inches from his hand.
"You know what, fuck it. I'm done." Jay muttered angrily, nothing had ever gone right for him, he was told when he grew up it would be better, but they were wrong.
(please tell me the anime theme song was yui's again cause,,,, yeah)
Amatiel, frowning, looked over at the man. "What is it?" he breathed, suddenly aware of the change of mood in the atmosphere.
Jay climbed onto the fire escape and made his way up to the roof, scowling the whole time.
Intensely scared, Amatiel followed him.
"My stars, sis is going to be pissed." Jay muttered, looking over the side. He sounded absolutely apathetic.
What is happening? Amatiel thought, watching his love look over the edge of the building.
Jay frowned and stood on the ledge, peering over some more.
He went to stand on the ledge.
"If you fall you'll die!" Amatiel wanted to scream. And then it hit him: he wanted to die.
Jay hummed as he watched cars go by, he stopped standing and went to sit on the ledge, legs dangling off.
"NO!" Amatiel screamed, fighting hard, so hard, to be visible and heard in the slowly fading daylight, focusing all his despair and terror and anger into his light, willing it to brighten enough.
His unbearable humming turned into an old 80s song from an old movie. He liked old movies, he used to watch them with his big brother before he went to jail.
"COME ON!" the young angel begged of himself, inching towards this man.
"Alright, time to do this." Jay said into the open air, rubbing his hands together.
"NO!" he screeched. Twister of pain, despair, rage, fear, guilt, layers of horrid emotions an angel wasn't supposed to feel, melding into a powerful, powerful mass of light…
Jay stood back up again, he felt a warmth on the back of his neck but he just addumed that was the usual pre suicide warmth.
(the usual pre suicide warmth)
He felt it. The thought. Suicide. With a wrenching feeling in his gut, Amatiel reached for the light he felt on the edge of his soul, pulling it towards him, wanting— no, needing to absorb its power.
"And here we go indeed." He breathed, he had been waiting for this for so, so long.
And suddenly a burning mass of light careened into him, knocking him off the ledge and onto the concrete roof behind him.
"What the-" Jay started, looking around wildly and about to share some colorful words with whoever just knocked him down.
Breathless, Amatiel readopted his clear human form, assuming the looks of young blond man with shining blue eyes. "You're okay," he smiled softly down at the man beneath him, eyes glistening with relieved tears.
"Yeah, no thanks to you. One, this place is private property. Two, don't touch me." He listed off. "Three, get the hell away from me."
Amatiel hurried to get to his feet, sticking out a hand to help the other to his own. "I'm Amatiel."
"I'm Jay, why am I giving you my name." E muttered ignoring the hands and frowning.
