Tolly smiled, more relaxed now that he knew Cas' mom wasn't angry or annoyed. "I'm glad I can be the one to make your son happy, Ma'am. I'm looking forward to seeing you in person. Do you want me to give Cas the phone again?"
Tolly smiled, more relaxed now that he knew Cas' mom wasn't angry or annoyed. "I'm glad I can be the one to make your son happy, Ma'am. I'm looking forward to seeing you in person. Do you want me to give Cas the phone again?"
"Lia dear, you're making me feel old." She giggled at something her husband said not heard on the phone "yes please dear and make sure he stays in bed at least until for the night. He has an odd tendencie of wanting to get up when his injuries aren't healed."
Tolly laughed quietly. "I've noticed. I'll take good care of him, Mrs. Lisa. Have a wonderful night." He handed the phone back to Cas.
Cas smiled and took the phone back "hi Mom, yeah I know. No I won't try to sneak off like last time….but it was fun! Fine…." Cas talked a bit more before saying goodbye and hanging up
"Sneak off like last time?" Tolly repeated, turning to pin Cas with a suspicious look. "You're not going to try and leave, are you? Because I think you'd collapse before you even got out the door."
He rolled his eyes playfully "that won't stop me, I've climbed into our roof at home with a broken leg before. They found me in the morning." He returned the gaze and cracked a smile "I already promise dmom I would try to leave. Don't worry about it."
"Fine, but only because I love you." Tolly's eyes softened into a fond look and he leaned down to kiss Cas gently. "How do you feel? Do you want me to get you anything?"
He smiled into the kiss and shook his head, snuggling into Tolly's neck "no, just you,"
Tolly laughed, wrapping an arm around his neck to pull him closer. "Just so you know, we're not doing anything more than kissing while you're all beat up like this."
"hm, fine by me." He muttered softly lightly pressing a kiss to the area beneath Tolly's ear
Tolly sighed happily, turning to kiss him on the cheek. "Good."
Cas hummed softly, pressing hi.self closer to Tolly
Tolly held him carefully, a little worried that he'd grab too hard and accidentally hurt Cas.
He snuggled into Tollys neck and closed his eyes "you're comfy,"
Tolly laughed, resting a hand on the back of Cas' head. "I'm glad I make a good pillow."
He nodded into Tollys hand "yes yes you do, a very comfy pillow."
Tolly laughed harder and started to fiddle with his hair. "That's one of my many good qualities as a boyfriend! I can cook, be a pillow, and turn into a dog. What more could a guy want?"
Case laughed "absolutely nothing else," he gazed up at him and smiled before lightly tracing the scar that peeked out from Tollys shirt "what's this from?" He asked softly
"Hmm?" Tolly reached back to run his finger over the scar, remembering how he got it with a small frown. "Oh… um, my dad. He wasn't the nicest guy."
Case paled a bit, his eyes widening a bit. "He did this to you?" He continued to trace the scar, finding out that it winded to his back as well "why?" He asked weakly
Tolly pulled off his shirt when he realized Cas was looking, revealing the way it cut from his left shoulder down to his right hip, jagged and angry. "Oh, I dunno. I was little, maybe five or six, and I was snooping through his office. and he found out and… um… he got pretty fucking pissed. Obviously. So he belted me bloody and sent me back to my room." He shrugged. "He got my mom worse for letting me in there in the first place."
Cas' face contorted into pain, not because of his injuries but because of Tolly's. He pressed his lips to the Tollys shoulder where the scar started and traced the rest of it with his hand
Tolly whined quietly and tensed, face flushing slightly. Nobody had wanted to touch him here before and the skin was oversensitive. "Y-you really don't have to do that! I know it's ugly, you don't have to make yourself touch it just for my sake."
Case glanced up "they're not ugly." He said quietly "I'm not forcing myself to do anything. I want to touch the scars. To make them feel as though their more than a battle scar from your childhood and more of a reminder of the battles you've won." He pulled his hand away slightly "I'll stop if it hurts you,"
"Oh! Um… you can keep… keep going then if you want to. I… I just…" His shoulders sloped inwards and he blushed, staring down at his hands. "Nobody's wanted to… to touch me here. So it's… um… sensitive. It doesn't hurt, it's just… a lot."
Cas' nodded "just let me know if you want me to stop." He said, going back to tracing tollys scar. He closed his eyes and muttered words
Tolly's breathing was shaky as Cas continued, fists clenched into tight fists on his lap. "O-okay," he squeaked, feeling like he'd been stripped bare. Everything felt tingly and strange, but also… good.
Cas' hummed softly and closed his eyes as he traced the scar, stopping at his hip and then starting to trace back up Tollys chest. "What are these from?" He asked, tracing the other scars that flecked his chest
Tolly hesitantly leaned into the touch. "Oh, mostly my dad. Um… these ones on my stomach are cigarette burns and this one is from when he broke a bottle and slashed me and… this one's from when he shoved me and I fell down the stairs." He traced over each scar, letting Cas see the thin ones that cut across his fingers and the backs of his hands.
Cas' eyes filled with pain as he traced each scar and Mark explained, cursing himself for not noticing them sooner. "You're stronger than him." He muttered against his skin.
