Tolly frowned and pulled Cas closer protectively. "We can do it all again. I mean, it probably won't take that long and I'd like to hang out in the shop again anyways."
Tolly frowned and pulled Cas closer protectively. "We can do it all again. I mean, it probably won't take that long and I'd like to hang out in the shop again anyways."
"what's left of it, that is." He muttered, nuzzling into Tollys with a grateful sigh. "We should probably start packing."
Tolly laughed. "Yeah, probably." He leaned in closer to Cas with a soft sigh. "I don't wanna get up, though. I'm so comfy!"
"I know, me too. I could stay here forever." He reached sip and kissed Tollys neck "but mom and dad are expecting to meet you so we cant be late ."
Tolly sighed and rose to his feet, planting a kiss on Cas' cheek. "I'll pack a bag in my dorm. Meet me there in 30 minutes?"
Cas smiled and nodded "yep! I think we're staying for two days, so pack anything you need that time." He said, standing as well and grabbing a bag from under his bed
Tolly nodded and jogged out the door, reaching his dorm quickly and starting to pack. When he was done he started baking a batch of sugar cookies as a gift to Cas' parents.
Cas packed his clothes and necessities for the two days. He sling his bag over his shoulder and headed towards Tolly's dorm. He knocked softly on the door and waited
"It's open!" Tolly yelled from the kitchen, busy packing away the still-hot cookies. His bag had been tossed onto te couch. "Come on in!"
Cas poked his head in "ready to go?" He asked, standing by the doorway and glancing around the room
Tolly nodded, jogging out of the kitchen with a Tupperware full of cookies. He pressed it into Cas' hands to grab his bag. "Yep! Are you gonna drive, or…?"
"I'll drive, it's not far from campus." He said, peeking into Tupperware "dad's gonna love these,"
Tolly beamed proudly. "You think so? I just whipped them up this morning as a little thank you gift."
"oh he'll love these for sure, he might not let us have any," he laughed and picked up his bag "let's go before it gets late."
Tolly followed him out to the car, stowing his bag in the back and settling in the passenger's seat. "You can have one now if you want. I made a bunch."
"nah it's ok, I can wait until we get to the house." He got in the driver's seat and started the car
Tolly shrugged and turned on the radio. He rolled down the window once they started moving, happily shoving his head outside and letting the wind blow through his hair.
Cas glanced over with a smirk "now how the heck did I know you were going g to do that?" He asked with a laugh
"Do what?" Tolly asked, tucking his head back inside the car to hear Cas properly. He was smiling brightly, hair messy from the wind.
He laughed and shook his head "nothing, just keep being adorable." He smiled and focused on the road
Tolly laughed and pecked him on the cheek, sticking his head out the window again a few seconds later.
He smiled at him, a small pang of guilt slicing through him at having not noticed how much he'd cared for tolly. At not giving him the same chance as Levi before the potion.
Tolly smiled into the wind, oblivious to Cas' unhappiness. His eyes were squinted and sparkly with excitement as his hair flapped around him.
They reached the house around dusk, a small cottage with ivy growing otound the windows and wild garden of herbs and plants surrounding the back portion, merging with the dark woods. Cas got out of the car and breathed in deeply
Tolly sighed happily and stood beside him, slinging an arm across Cas' shoulders. "So this is your house?"
He nodded and leaned into tolly "yep! This is where I grew up. It's not much, but we have great memories here." He glanced around once more, envisioning his parents in the garden telling him stories about their life, his mother showing him every usuable remidy for Geere flowers. He closed his eyes for one sweet moment before straightening and tugging tolly along the stone path to the door
Tolly laughed and let himself be pulled along, peeking curiously into the garden and ouse. It seemed like a lovely place to grow up. "I think it's really nice."
"thanks," cas said as they neared the front screen door. He could already see his mother rushing up and opening the door. He smiled and ran up to her, hugging her close. "Hi Mom," he laughed as she kissed his head and looked him over
"Oh my stars are you alright? Where did they hurt you?" She asked, turning him around and scanning him for any major injuries, a bright green filled her eyes, a sign of controlled anger "I swear to heaven above I'm going to ki-"
Before she could say more cas pointed to Tolly "mom, this is the guy who was talking to you over the phone, he's my boyfriend and got me out of the shop." He waved tolly over with a smile
Tolly laughed when Cas’ mother started to get angry. He smiled brightly at her, extending his hand for her to shake. “It’s lovely to meet you in person, Ma’am! I didn’t do much, just helped Cas make it home after the thugs ran off.”
Lia turned towards tolly, the green leaving her eyes "you're the one who got my son out?" She asked with a tilt of her head. She took Tollys hand and pulled him into a hug "thank you for protecting my son." She whispered
"Mom! I can take care of myself!" Cas whined though a smile crept on his face
" You're a lycanthrope," she noticed with a smile, pulling away
