He chuckled softly. "Mm. I better not ever try then." He teased slightly.

"Probably not…"
She says stepping towards him, putting her hands on both of the side of him. (he's still on the couch right?)

Troy looked up at her, raising his eyebrows.

"Im going to ask you one more time…. Because I'm not sure if I believe you or not."
She says looking into his eyes
"You didn't peek did you?"

He blinked. "Uh…no." he said again. "I swear I didn't."

"Okay… Good."
She says, smiling, ruffling his dark hair before she suddenly stood up.
"So what should we do today?"
She says turning around, her arms on her hips.

He raised an eyebrow slightly, and stood. "I don't know. Up to you." He replied.

"Hey! You should work on the little challenge I assigned you! You were doing a good job just now!"
She says to him while adjusting her weapons.

He raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked, looking at her.

"What do you mean, what do i mean?"
She says crossed her arms now.

"Challenge? And how was I doing a good job?" He asked, watching her.

"I told you to be… Unpredictable, more interesting. That's what you were trying to do there… Right?"
She says with a confused look on her face.

He shook his head. "I was just trying to make sure you didn't bleed to death or something…" He looked confused.

"No, those little comments you- whatever, nevermind. Okay, like I told you yesterday, be more…fun. Do unpredictable but not stupid things. Be more interesting, but keep your personalty at the same time.

"Wow. Did you just call me boring?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow at her.

"Yep"
She says jokingly followed by a little giggle.
"Hey, I said keep your sense of personality though okay?!"

He rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say." He muttered.

"Okay, let's go on a walk first, and well see where that takes us"

He chuckled. "Alright." He hummed for a moment. "Lead the way."

Walking aimlessly they arrived at an old school. Just a small school building. It looked like it as demolished. Walking through the rubble, there was one room, that looked almost untouched.
"I like this place"
She says turning around to meet his eyes.

He raised his eyebrows slightly, but nodded. "Okay." He said simply.

"This is what I mean… you're too cold. I can't even talk to you without cringing."

Troy sighed. "What else did you want me to say? Saying I like it too would be a lie, so I don't think you want me to say it. Okay seemed like the best response."

"K….."
She says walking out of the room.
"Let's find somewhere you like. Lead the way."

"Maylynn, I don't mean to hurt your feelings or anything, really. I just…you made this bargain. And it stipulates that I only have to stay with you. Not that I have to change for you. I'm sorry that I'm not as human anymore as I used to be, I'm sorry that I'm too different for you to connect with. But I am the Grim Reaper. I am Death. I am not Human. Not anymore. Death isn't supposed to have feelings. Death isn't supposed to decide who lives, who dies. Death just takes. That's who I am now, and that's why you made this bargain." He said, not moving.

(Lol the whole time I'm writing that last bit my head's going "death doesn't discriminate, between the sinners and the saints, it takes and it takes and it takes" bc Hamilton XD)

"But you do"
She says sitting down on a piece of concrete. She made this bargain because she was lonely, and who better to do it with than the grim reaper?
"You do have feeling, and you show them, i just don't want you to just follow me around just saying okay all of the time. I was lonely okay?"
She says standing up and walking away.

"If you were lonely, you should have found a human that can give you more than what I can. Because I am always going to put my duty first. I have to. If I didn't…well. There are worse things than the Grim Reaper." He shook his head. "I say okay because I don't know what else to say. I haven't been part of this world in so long that I don't know hardly anything of how it works, what it's like. So excuse me if I don't express opinions about everything."

"Sorry, just go do your job. But you were human, and you still have human in you."
She says throwing a rock into some rubble. Looking up at the sky as it quickly darkened.
"It's gonna rain soon"

"Not enough to count." He muttered, dragging a hand through his hair. "We should probably stay inside, then."

"I'm staying…you can leave"
She says still walking away. Maybe she could find a river or something she could relax in.
