She suppressed a laugh. The way that Summer reacted was too cute. Lilith quickly caught up to her, hands in her pockets. "Spicy food, huh? I should've known since you were eating those death sticks."

"Death sticks? Oh, you mean the Takis? Those aren't even that spicy. But you what is spicy? My dad's homemade ghost pepper salsa." Summer smiled looking over to Lilith.

"I'm pretty sure I would actually die if I had your dad's salsa," she looked up at the sky and began to think about something. "Hey, there's an Indian place near here. They have really spicy food. Probably the spiciest food you'll ever eat."

Summer giggled at Lilith's comment. She looked up at the sky when Lilith did, then back down to her. "Ooo sounds delicious! Do you think they have some food made already, 'cause you know… no one can make stuff for us."

"Oh, they definitely do." She nodded her head. "And if they don't, we'll just steal the food from other customers."

"Hmm, okay! I'm really excited now!" Summer jumped a little in excitement. "Please, lead the way!"

Lilith instinctively linked her arm through Summer's arm and began to walk in an entirely different direction.

"Oh! It's this way! I guess I've definitely never been there." Summer didn't unlink her arm, instead, she enforced it."

A silence filled the air. Lilith felt a tad awkward, so she asked, "So, uh. We should probably get to know each other better huh?"

"Oh yeah, we definitely should… um, I guess I start with asking, who is your favorite musical artist and or genre?"

(Sorry, I've been trying to catch up with all of the rp's. I'll try not to let it happen again. Also, this world is set in our present, right?)
She frowned. "I don't really know. I listen to a wide variety of music. But mostly rap or hip-hop, I suppose." She looked at Summer and asked, "What about you?"

(It's all good, if it does happen again it's okay! C: And yes it is)
Summer nodded her head. "I really like artists like Khalid, Troye Sivan, and Maroon 5, mostly their older stuff." She looked around where they were. "Even though no one is moving I'm still a little creeped out about just walking around at night…"

Lilith thought about that for a moment. "I understand that. It's kind of eerie. And it doesn't help the fact that there's basically no noises except us."

"Yeah, I've never been anywhere where it's this silent." Summer looked around at everyone frozen in place, some people just walking and minding their own business, others buying midnight snacks.

"We could play some music once we get inside," Lilith smiled at her. "Your call, though."

Summer smiled back. "Eh, I don't know maybe though. Like just some background stuff."

She nodded in response. "Look, there it is," Lilith pointed to a building that was painted red. She started to quicken her pace a little bit

Summer glanced at Lilith then to the building she pointed at. "Yeah, I don't think I've been here. I'm very excited!" She walked faster as Lilith did.

When they walked inside, Lilith escorted Summer to a table and walked back into the kitchen. She returned with a tray full of spicy food (I don't really eat spicy food so I don't know what's going on-) "For you, madame," Lilith grinned at her and set the tray on the table

(Lol I don't really eat spicy food either…)
Summer smiled and she couldn't stop smiling either. "Thank you so much! I honestly don't know what any of this is since I haven't had Indian food before, but I'm excited to try it!"

Lilith sat on the table and stared at the food. "My mouth is going to be on fire. I can smell the spiciness."

"Honestly, I can too. But I bet this is going to be delicious!" Summer took one of the dishes at random and started to eat it, taking small breaks after a few bites to cool her mouth a little. "Wow, this is delicious! I've never tasted anything like it!"

Lilith smiled. "I'm glad you like it! It would be a bit awkward if you didn't-"
She picked up a tiny bit of food and nibbled on it. "Oh gOD. THAT'S HOT!" She fanned her mouth and drank ice water

Summer laughed at Lilith's reaction to the food. "Is it really that spicy? I bet they have mil or bread somewhere if you need it." She was still eating the food like it was nothing. "I bet they also have some food that isn't spicy… You don't have to eat the same thing as me just because it's my birthday."

Lilith slammed her fist on the table, eyes watering from the spiciness. "I must bring honor to you," She put a whole spoonful (forkful?) of spicy foods in her mouth, trying to ignore the burning heat

"Are you sure? If you're not used to this much heat it may not be the best for you." Summer stood up and went to the back to look for some bread or milk for Lilith. After a couple minutes, she found some type of bread and more water. She came back and set the items in front of Lilith. "Here you go!"

Lilith chugged the water and frantically ate the bread. "Ahh," she sighed in relief. "Thank you, Summer." She smiled at her

Summer smiled back. "You're welcome! I wouldn't want my soulmate to die of spicy food, the day I find out!" She laughed the continued to eat her food.
