@mementomorii_

Kat's eyes widened as they shot up from her drawing. "Woah, seriously? That's so cool!"
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of the door opening once more. Kat turned and faced the front.
"Oh, sensei's here."
She set her clipboard down and waited.
((Who's gonna be the teacher XD))

@croccin-champagne

((Uuuhh…imma go with Aizawa??))

Osora only tucked her phone away when Shou slapped it out of her hand and into her lap, shooting him a dirty look before turning her attention to Aizawa Shouta as he sort of scooted into the room in a yellow sleeping bag. She flicked an eyebrow up slightly, reaching up to push her hair out of her face.

Once he had finally pulled himself into an upright position, he surveyed the classroom with an unreadable expression. "So you're the new group of hero-hopefuls."

@mementomorii_

Kat gingerly pulled her headband off and re-adjusted her hair before placing it back on her head. She sat up a bit straighter and pushed her glasses up.
"I'm going to tell you all only once, so pay attention. This is the hero course, meaning I will expect nothing less than your all. If somebody is treating this like it's some run-of-the-mill class for goofing off," Aizawa paused, his expression hardening.
"They will be expelled. If you're looking for an easy ride, I suggest you get up and leave now."
The entire classroom was silent. Aizawa surveyed the classroom and closed his eyes. After a few seconds, he opened them once more.
"Good. Now let's move on. Get into you're track uniforms and meet me on the field for endurance training."

@croccin-champagne

((If I remember correctly, they change in the classrooms when it comes to track uniforms.))

"He's exactly how I pictured." Osora commented, unbuttoning the uniform button-up as she stood. She didn't seem all that bothered by having to change, or worried about seeing if she could find somewhere else to change. Pulling a tank top from her bag, she slipped it on over her sports bra and pulled out the over shirt, tying it around her waist as she finished changing with odd ease and speed. The sheer amount of scars covering her body that became visible while she was changing was slightly worrying.

"Endurance training. First day and we're diving right in." Shou sounded somewhat impressed, and looked it, too, as he changed with a bit less ease than Osora had, glancing around.

@mementomorii_

Kat stood, her face bright red. "Sensei, may I change in the restroom or maybe the hall?"
She was shaking slightly, desperate to change anywhere but here.
Aizawa was silent for a moment before he nodded his head. Kat took off out the door, returning a few moments later wearing her track uniform.

Kat had the pants on her uniform rolled up to fit like shorts and had her shirt unzipped, showing off her black tank top. Her chest wasn't anything amazing, and was, in fact, rather flat. She pulled her short hair into an unimpressive ponytail and pushed her glasses up, walking over to Tokino and Yusha.
"Sorry about that." She rubbed the back of her neck and smiled apologetically.
"Alright let's go." Aizawa sighed as he left the room.
Kat popped her knuckles and turned, exiting the classroom behind him.

@croccin-champagne

Osora caught up to Kat, Shou following quietly behind her and moving to her side once they were through the doorway. "You know, if you ever need, I can cover you when you're changing." She said, rubbing her thumb along the smooth surface of an ordinary small rock in her hand. She arched a brow slightly, looking at Kat. "When changing in a restroom isn't an option. Just let me know." With that offer out there, she changed the subject suddenly, her eyes sparkling slightly. "Endurance, huh? Wonder what all that entails."

@mementomorii_

"Wow, really? Thanks! I'm just really self conscious about my body and stuff. Also, I only know two people in this entire school. I'd rather not change in front of everyone."
Kat glanced down, catching a glimpse of the rock. Her eyes lit up.
"Hey, I have one of those in my hand!" She held up her right palm and smiled. Embedded into her skin was a smooth black stone.
"It's how I use my quirk." Kat flipped her palm around and stared at it. She then quickly changed the subject.
"Endurance is probably like those things in PE where you run or stretch or something. Or maybe sensei is just gonna have us run the track till we pass out. Who knows?" Kat laughed a little at her own comment.

@croccin-champagne

Osora flipped the stone over, revealing the initials W.A. A very faint smile flickered across her face for a split second, but was gone so quick, it was possible that it had just been a trick of the light. "Running isn't my strong suit, at least not for long distances. Now, obstacle courses and parkour, on the other hand.." She snorted, tucking the stone away and running a finger over a scar on her forearm. It was a perfect circle, and on the other side of her arm, was one that mirrored it. She'd gotten them during a nasty fall, when she'd landed in someone's yard. Her arm had been impaled by the spikes on the yard's fence.

@mementomorii_

"I guess I'm an okay runner… If I push myself too hard I cough up blood though." Kat glanced away for a moment. She cleared her throat and continued. "It's usually not really that bad, but I was climbing a tree a few months back and missed a branch. I fell out of the tree and it made the whole situation worse, so I can't really 'sprint' for too long. Anyway," Kat paused and turned to Tokino, her eyes full of admiration.
"You can do parkour? That's so awesome!"
She then turned to Yusha. "What about you, Yusha-kun? What do you think we're gonna be doing?"
Kat then paused, her eyes widening and her face turning red. "O-Oh! You don't mind if I call you that, do you?"

@croccin-champagne

Osora choked on a laugh, half at the look on Kat's face, and half at the one on Shou's. "Uh-yeah, it's fine." He said, reaching up to rub the back of his neck as he gave a nod. "Running seems standard, so probably something along those lines. Maybe even an obstacle course of sorts, to test where we're at with evasiveness and things like that."

@mementomorii_

Kat nodded, fanning her face in an attempt to calm down. "I guess an obstacle course would be cool. Guess we'll find out soon." She turned and looked at the field they had arrived at. Aizawa spoke.
"Today you'll be doing some endurance training. It's similar to what you all did in middle school, but you can use your quirks."
He then pointed to a girl in the back. "Come here and throw this ball. Feel free to use your quirk."

The girl stepped forward and took the ball. She tossed it up a few times before reeling her arm back and throwing it. The ball flew forward, and she then pointed at the ball sending a wave of air at it. It went even farther. Aizawa flipped his little phone thing around.
"805.6" he stated. Kat raised her hand.
"Sensei, am I allowed to hit it with my scythe like a baseball bat, or do I have to throw it."
((I'll let you decide that XDD))

@croccin-champagne

Aizawa studied Kat as he thought that over, before speaking once again in his usual slightly disinterested tone. "Hitting it is fine. Ingenuity is always appreciated." With that, he motioned for Kat to go next.

Osora slapped Kat's shoulder in a friendly gesture, winking at the other girl. "Knock 'em dead Kit-Kat." The nickname was spoken with a playful undertone, as she seemed to be warming up to Kat a bit more, the more time they spent talking. "Preferably not actually, but you know."

@mementomorii_

Kat smiled, happy to have a friend. "Thanks!"
She walked with a faltering confidence, and took the ball. She breathed in and summoned her scythe.
Tossing the ball in the air, she swung her scythe forward at full force and hit the ball on the flat of the blade. It went flying. On edge, Kat turned to Aizawa, her eyes full of hope.
Aizawa flipped his phone thing around, and Kat nearly cried.
"801.3." His tone was flat. Kat turned around and smiled, jogging back to Tokino and Yusha.
"I thought I would do a lot worse than that, honestly."
Aizawa pointed at Yusha to go next.

@croccin-champagne

"Nice one." Osora said, nodding. She pulled a hairtie off her wrist, reaching up and pulling her hair back into a short ponytail as Shou stepped up to the line, tossing the ball up in the air as though judging it's weight. A few bees buzzed around his head, the number slowly gaining a bit. Without much fanfare, he pulled his arm back and threw the ball, the bees keeping up and carrying it farther than it would have gone.

"800." Osora muttered, seconds before Aizawa said the exact same thing.

@mementomorii_

"Awe… That was kinda cute." Kat smiled as Yusha came back.
"Good job, Yusha-kun!"
Aizawa pointed at Tokino. Kat slapped her shoulder in a friendly way. "Good luck, Tokino-san!"
She smiled at her warmly. The sunlight caught her eyes at an angle that made her big brown eyes look like honey.

@croccin-champagne

Osora handed her bag to Shou, who pulled the water bottle from earlier out and poured a bit into the cap, letting the bees still hanging around take turns drinking.

"Question is, if I could even work my Quirk into this." Osora mused, shooting Kat a small smile as she made her way to the line. She studied the ball in her hand for a few moments, before flicking her hand. A small knife seemingly appeared out of nowhere, a trick she's practiced hard on. "Hey, Sensei, you mind if I cut the ball open?"

@mementomorii_

Aizawa stared at her for a moment.
"I don't see why not. It's always good to find different ways to incorporate your quirk."
Kat stared at the bees around Yusha. "So they act like domesticated pets?" She tilted her head sideways, still studying the bees. "Sorry if I'm annoying about all this, but I'm really interested in quirks." She laughed sheepishly.

@croccin-champagne

"Cool." With that, Osora cut into the ball, making a decent sized slit.

"Not quite." Shou said, his eyes on Osora curiously. "And it's not annoying, don't worry. They still have their free will and everything, most definitely after I use my Quirk, they just…decide to help. Apparently, it's more interesting than their day to day lives."

A quick flick of the knife had Osora's arm bleeding, and she ignored Aizawa's noise of surprise in favor of directing some of that blood into the slit in the ball she'd cut open. Once satisfied, she tucked the knife away, and pulled her arm back to throw. Her Quirk had a range, for controlling blood, obviously, but if she could just use it to give the ball an extra burst to keep momentum going, she'd be fine. So that's what she did.

@mementomorii_

Kat's eyes widened slightly.
"T-Tokino-san..!" She murmered, making a fist.
Someone behind Kat sneered. "Wow, that'll be useful."
Kat whipped around and glared. "How about you criticize people when you know what they're capable of."
She hissed that last part, before hearing Tokino throw the ball. It launched forward with a bit of an extra push, before falling to the ground.
Aizawa flipped the phone around, and Kat smiled as she turned to the person who had commented.
"812.5"

@croccin-champagne

"Huh. Not bad." Osora mused, watching the blood run down her arm and drip to the ground for a moment. Shaking her head, she lifted her free hand in the air, and Shou tossed a bandana from her bag at her. She caught it, wrapping it around the cut and tying it off. Once she had, she looked up at the rest of the class, a slightly terrifying smile on her face as her eyes narrowed in on the guy who'd mocked her Quirk. "You've seen what I've got, let's see if your Quirk is any more useful."

@mementomorii_

Aizawa pointed at the guy, who ended up failing pitifully. Kat smiled and her eyes sparkled with admiration for Tokino. "That was so cool! People'll think twice before mocking you again!"

After everyone had thrown the ball, Aizawa moved on.
"Next you'll be doing a 5 kilometer dash. Two of you at a time to the starting line." He pointed at two guys in the back. The guy with messy black hair ended up winning. Next was a girl who had mouse ears and a tail paired with the mocking dude. He had a speed quirk, so he won. Then was Yusha and Tokino.

@croccin-champagne

People thinking twice before they messed with her was exactly what Osora was always aiming for. And it worked, made obvious by what had just happened, and the decline in outright bullying.

"I'm gonna kick your ass, Queen Bee." Osora said, her eyes sparkling with a wicked but playful mischief as she elbowed Shou. They made their way to the start line while swapping playful trash talk, and Osora shot Kat a subtle wink as she geared up to start. When Aizawa said 'go', they were both off, matching each other pretty easily. That is, until Osora began using her Quirk, which probably wasn't too great for her body. Relying on her blood, and her ability to manipulate it, she used a trick she had no business knowing how to use, to give herself a sort-of boost with distance. Without time to amass a swarm, Shou couldn't use his quirk for speed at all.

@mementomorii_

Kat laughed as Tokino took off ahead and Yusha looked a bit distressed. Tokino won, of course.
“You guys did really well!”
Kat smiled and held her hand up for a high five. Before anyone could comply, Aizawa called her up to go against some guy with purple hair. He smiled as they walked up to the finish line.
“Best of luck.” He patted her shoulder.
Kat paid no attention to him, only nodding absentmindedly. Her mind swirled with different ideas of how she was going to win. She summoned her scythe, and readied herself. Once they were allowed to go, Kat took off in a mad sprint and pole vaulted, flying forward.

@croccin-champagne

"Fuck yeah!" Osora shouted, hands cupped around her mouth and a too-sharp smile on her face. Her shout startled the students around her, a few jumping, and one stumbling away from her. Shou, despite his raised eyebrows at her, didn't seem too startled. He turned back to watching Kat, letting out a 'whoop!' as his own encouragement. Both of them ignored the glare or two on them, mainly from the guy who'd been mocking Osora.

@mementomorii_

Kat's pole vault hadn't been the most graceful thing in the world. In fact, she ended up flying forward and having to roll across the finish line. She got up abruptly and dusted herself off, proud that she had won. Turning toward where she had vaulted, she held out her right hand. Her scythe turned a lavender colour and glowed, before turning into light and vanishing. The purple haired guy looked astonished, but said nothing.
Kat trotted over to where her friends stood.
"Thanks for the cheering! It made me all the more encouraged to win."
She laughed lightly and rubbed her arm.

@croccin-champagne

"Pole vaulting. Who could've thought of that?" Osora said, huffing a laugh as she bumped Kat's shoulder with her own. "You should've seen the look on that guy's face." Shou nodded, shooting Kat a grin and holding up his hand for a high five.

@mementomorii_

Kat laughed, high fiving Yusha.
"I think he underestimated me a bit too much." She smiled. After the 5 km was just some simple sparring, stretching, and fighting techniques (for lack of any better idea).
Kat had accidentally cut her arm on some kid's knife-hand quirk, so she had to go see recovery girl.

@croccin-champagne

"Hey, Sensei, think I can tag along to grab some band-aids?" Osora called, from where she had just knocked a boy three times her size and with a strength Quirk to the ground. "I used up all of mine-er-last night." When she'd been out, technically maybe illegally, doing vigilante work. She refrained from using her Quirk, so at least there was that.

@mementomorii_

Aizawa grunted.
“Go ahead.”
Kat turned to Tokino.
“Oh, hey.” She held her hand over her arm to stop the bleeding, but it didn’t work very well.
“you need some bandages too?”

@croccin-champagne

"Yup. And I might as well stock up while I'm there." Osora said, shooting Aizawa a slightly cheeky, two-fingered salute. She studied Kat's injury for a moment, before untying the track jacket from around her waist. She used her teeth to rip the sleeve off, before pulling Kat's arm toward her as they walked, oddly gentle. Tossing the rest of the jacket over her shoulder with every intention of bringing the fabric home to her grandmother, she used the sleeve to bandage the wound temporarily.
