Hey, so I'm in a play called Young Sherlock, and while I was doing some research about my character (a female Sherlock), I started thinking that I really liked the relationship between Sherlock and Watson, how Watson is basically Sherlock's way of accessing the outside world, since he is, in fact, a "high functioning sociopath." Brilliant, but not the best with people. Watson kind of reels him back in when he goes overboard, kind of Sherlock's anchor. And I like that. But in my play, they're girls. I thought it'd be fun to rp, if anyone wanted to. I'm honestly not very good at coming up with mysteries, though, so I'll probably snatch a few from mystery books laying around my house, if I can find them. But, um… yeah. Imma need a Watson and having a Moriarty would be really cool cause it's always good to have a villain handy (especially since Moriarty is pretty much the only person to rival Sherlock's intelligence and be able to best him), and, um, yeah. I'm bad at both leadership and decisions, so… sounds great, amiright?
I want to do this so badly but I'm already in two RPs with you on this board that I haven't responded to yet I know hush hush but… I'm such a mystery slut why am I like this?

I don't know… Watson? I'm not feeling up for playing a villain rn but I'd love to be the grounded sidekick.
Coolio.
But actually…
I don't think I have the creative abilities to do this one
So I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it or not
I just like the character and that's itI can't make plots or clues or subtle hints
Well, I could be both characters? As I said, I'm a mystery slut and you know I have the magic power of playing more than one character at once sanders side much blep
Nah, if you don't want to them I can. I want to do what makes you most comfortable.
I can really only play one character without panicking so dgvqoepfhvpe yee?

Well, what branch of the Sherlock Fandom(s) are we going for? BBC's modern version, the classic Conan Doyle, the comedic RDJ movies? Elementary (I haven't seen that one shit-) or others? Idk, I like classic Conan Doyle but don't know shit about the era, and I also like modern angst BBC but it's up to you.
Ok um well in this one they're genderbent cause I'm focusing on my character from the play I'm in, but to be honest I've never watched any of the Sherlock-based tv shows or movies, and I only read part of the books, BUT we are going for more of a Bentduct Cucumberbatch style Sherlock. (Based off of the summaries I've seen)
So…. modern era? Or Victorian? Or maybe I'm confused and don't know shit. But I'd highly recommend watching and reading any material that's even remotely Sherlock-y, even fan fiction has merit sometimes but I doubt you would get good representations from that.
Yee, it's modern. 👌 👌 👌 👌
Okay. Let's just save time and energy and just jump in with the characters but ignore the canon and idk you can mess with the characterization but I kinda like my "emotion? who's she never heard of her?" type that threw a guy out of a window multiple times for slapping his landlady, Mrs. Hudson. Yeah…. that was a thing. But idk man you choose.
Oh, that's how I'm portraying Sherlock. I thought Watson would be more understanding of emotions, since she's basically Sherlock's anchor to the real world, but i mean it's your character fam you can do whatever you want with her, it's not my decision ^^
Yeah, I want her to be the emotional anchor but also the sassmaster, like, all, "you fuckin moron you can't just tell people their feelings are obsolete and they're useless in the scale of humanity okay that not nice" "but Watson it's truuuuue" "i don't give a fuck you need to apologize" and so on.
oOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoh yeah that's perfect.
