Sadie hummed as she swept the kitchen floor, swaying along with the tune in her head.

[The plot so far:
The annual Winter Ball is coming up, and it's been rumored that Travis Blum (our Prince Charming) is going to be there. Sadie Calden really wants to go to the ball, but, unfortunately, she has to stay and clean (something…). However, a "fairy godmother" comes to her rescue, and she's able to go. Sadie and Travis meet, but Travis never learns her name. Sometime later, there's an audition for a musical, and Sadie goes in disguise. Travis learns that she's his "Cinderella" from the ball and picks her. During one of the last scenes of the musical, Sadie's disguise is removed—either by her or someone else—and then… Happily Ever After, the end.]

(So she goes as herself for the Winter ball but has a mask on. Not wanting for her step mother to find out, she puts on a completely different disguise which he doesn't suspect. At the last scene, he finds out she was the one from the winter ball.) – From @Nerd_Girl2.0
