He laughed nervously "my cousin had this weird fantasy that I would come here and confess my undying love for you. I don't think we've gotten that far quite yet so I thought we could just talk. I've got nothing better to do." He glanced up at Eric, nervous that he would walk off.
Eric leaned back and laughed so hard he had to clutch the railing for support. It - his laughter - was the sort of bright thing that, if manifested visually, would hurt your eyes. "I'd do the same thing if I were him." He sighed, then smiled languidly. "Alright then. You wanna come up here so we can, uh, talk properly? Your neck's probably hurting from looking up."
Greyson smiled, happy that he could make Eric laugh and smiled. He blinked and nodded, "uh sure, give me a second to find a way up." He said, glancing around and finding a nearby tree
Eric's eyes followed his gaze. "Oh boy."
Greyson's smile turned determined as he walked over , jumping up and hauling himself up onto a branch. Once he was high enough, he balanced on the branch and glanced up towards where Eric was "think I can jump?"
Eric covered his face with his hands. "Oh god, I can't watch this." He moved away from him, giving him space. "Don't fall. They'll be saying I killed my family's enemy's offspring for political gain." He sighed. What the hell have I gotten myself into?
"Plus for them…" he muttered, getting ready to jump. He counted backwards in his head from three and launched himself fowards, clearing the branch and the railing before lading on his side and rolling to a stop
Eric shrieked. "Motherfucker!" He was at Grayson's side at once, laying a hesitant hand on his shoulder. "Are you, uh, okay? Did you break anything?"
Greyson rolled over and laughed "that was fun! I might just do that again…" He glanced down to where Eric's hand was on his shoulder, then back up at his worried expression "and then I'd do it a million times over again if it meant your contct and closeness." he muttered softly
Eric huffed a nervous laugh and looked away, dropping his hand. "You want a drink or something? I have a Coke."
" Water please, if you have it." He sat up and glanced around the balcony.
"Oh." Eric had only said that to break the tension. He hadn't expected an actual request. " Uh, hold on."
He went inside, took a bottle of water off his table, and cursed quietly over it. He was so in over his head.
Cas had stood up and was leaning over the railing, looking out on to the moonlit lawn. He was a bit nervous about being caught in a Capulate house but he didn't want to leave eaither
(lol I meant Grey, wrong character)
(ok lmao)
Eric took a deep breath and went back on the balcony, thrusting the bottle towards Grey. "Uh, here."
He smiled softly and took the water with a great ful nod "thank you, you have a beautiful house, I'm surprised you don't have more parties more often."
Formal again? Alright then. Eric laughed shortly. "Trust me, we have too many. I wouldn't mind a smaller house if any of the people in it actually gave a shit about each other."
"they don't? I'm sure that's not true." He said, running a hand through his messy hair and taking a sip of water "so what do you do for fun?"
Eric folded his arms and automatically rubbed the back of his neck, almost mimicking Grayson. "I don't know, watch TV. Read. I like rock music, but that's not really doing something." An inappropriate thought crossed Eric's mind, and he pursed his lips to stop from laughing. "You?"
"not much, mostly read and write. On occasion I sneak out onto enemy territory to scope out hot guys on balcony's." He teased, glancing over at Eric with a mischeiviously gleam in his eyes
Eric looked away, a little smile tugging at his mouth. "Shut up."
He laughed softly and shook his head "never, if I means I warrent an adorable reaction from you."
Eric had a strong urge to punch him in the face - and an equal desire to kiss him. He did neither. "You're such an idiot," he stated sharply, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"aw, you're just mad that I'm getting a rouse out of you so easily." He tilted his head and laughed "the harder you resist, the worst it'll get, dear."
Eric squinted at him, trying his very best to look irritated instead of flustered. "Fuck off."
Grey gave him a flirtatious smile "I think I'm liking making you blush. It's cute when try to act all mad."
Eric pushed him lightly, almost growling at him. "Shut the hell up. I'm not blushing."
(eric got that Angry Bottom Energy)
"said every person who's blushed before." Grey retorted with a laugh "you're a bad liar, dear."
Eric wrinkled his nose, a little smile tugging at his lips. "And you're a bad flirt."
