Ethan smiled down at him.
Ethan smiled down at him.
He glanced up as they reached the bar, internally flinching inside at seeing how full it was "oh joy…people."
"I'll be right here. I won't let anything happen to you." Ethan kissed him softly
He hummed softly, thankful for his security "ok," he nodded
"Lets go find you a spot." Ethan walked into the bar
He glanced around and found a seat In a corner "there's good," he pointed to the chair and table
Ethan walked him over amd set Raz's stuff down. "All set?"
He nodded and sat down, pulling out a notebook. He curled up in his chair and brought his legs to his chest "all good!"
Ethan dropped a kiss on the top of his head. "Do you want anything to drink?"
He smiled and shook his head "nope, I'm good for now,"
"Alright, you know where to find me." Ethan smiled and walked behind the counter
He nodded, watching Ethan retreat to the bar counter. He smiled softly and began. Writing in his notebook, pulling his hood over his head
Ethan got behind the counter and kept his eyes on Raz.
After an hour or so, a drunk man maybe in his 50s came up to Raz and tapped him on the shoulder "Young man, whatcha writing?" He asked, sitting down across from him. Raz glanced up nervously but saw no immediate threat so Raz showed him the notebook "just some stories,"
Ethan noticed the movement and looked over. He tensed as he saw a man approach Raz
He set his drink down and looked at the notebook, reading it carefully and nodding in appreciation. "These are great," Raz nodded in thanks and took the book back.
"So he's yours?" The man asked
"Wha-what? who?
"The guy who keeps looking over here at you from the bar. He's glaring at me for sitting with you."
Raz blushed "yeah, he's my boyfriend."
The man nodded and smiled "keep him. He's a good one." He winked and stood up "and keep writing, you're good." He patted him on the shoulder and walked off
Ethan kept a xlose watch on them. His shoulders relaxed as the man walked away. He jumped over the counter and headed for Raz. "Everything okay?"
he nodded and watched as the man left. "Yeah, everything's ok." He turned back to Ethan "you know him?" He asked curiously "he just sat down and talked like normal." He shrugged "seems nice enough."
Ethan shook his head. "Seems familiar. Must come in every once in awhile." He deopped a quick kiss to his head
He smiled and nudged him in appreciation "must be. And next time don't jump over the counter unless it's an emergency. You look like a James bond scene." He teased
"Who wouldn't want to be the next james bond?" Ethan laughed. "I'll leave you to it."
He nodded "true, I know I would." He smiled and opened his notebook to start writing more
Ethan walked back behind the counter. He ignored the odd looks from others
He drew a picture of the man and his drink, his dark eyes lost in thought of another world that seemed far away, a nostalgic smile on his face. He wrote a mini description off to the side. "Man in the bar, mind in the past. What's better?"
Ethan kept a constant eye on his lover in the corner. He didn't want anything to happen to him. It was a crash and yelling that pulled his attention away. Two men had gotten into a fight.
Raz glanced up at the noise and flinched, watching as a fight broke out. He glanced over to where Ethan was, silently praying that he'd handle this calmly
Ethan hopped the counter, approaching the fighting pair carefully. "Break it up! Take it outside!" He said trying to difuse the situation. Which didn't work. It rarely ever did. When neither of them addressed him, he reached forward and grabbed one of them, atremoting to separate then, which also didn't work
Raz glanced around and saw an empty beer bottle. He grabbed it and smashed it on the ground, hoping it'd get the attention of those fighting, "he said enough! Either take it outside or settle it without violence." Raz yelled over the noise, hoping his voice sounded stronger than he felt
(poke)
(Oof, sry I've been busy)
Ethan turned his head to Raz as heard his voice. He was worried that he would get himself caught in the middle of the fight. "Stay back Raz!" He warned.
