The school was large, one of the largest in the country. It was easy to get lost in there unless you have a map, or you are a junior or a senior. Summer walks up the steps in front of the school. She sits down on one of the stairs, waiting for her friends.

I get out of my car and I stare at the school. Great…Another day of school. I ignore the lustful glances I get from the boys on the campus and I walk up to Summer. "Hello."

"Hi, Elysee!" She smiles. "Are you ready for yet another wonderful day of school?" Her was voice was full of sarcasm.

"Of course," I say as the bell rings. "Well, ready to start the fun school day?" I say with the same amount of sarcasm

"As always. Oh- there's the bell, see you later." She heads off to her class.

Danny intercepts Summer as they walk to class. They sit next to each other and Danny often talks to her.
"Hey, Summer!"

"Hi Danny! I'm so glad one of my friends have 1st period with me, it would be so boring and lonely." She pulls out her notebook and her pencil.

"Girl, all of my periods are boring. Even the ones I have friends with."
Danny also proceeds to pull out the essentials of class from his bag.

"So true though." The teacher calls attention to the class and starts it.

I walk into Summer's class and I sit down at the back. The teacher nods at me and continues to speak

Summer turns around and waves to Elysee then turns back to the front of the room.

Danny also notices Elysee but is not as good of friends with her.
Whispering to Summer. "Hey, do you think you could introduce me to your other friend sometime? Maybe we could hang out as a group."

I wave back and I sit there making little shadow puppets. The dance on the desk and speak to me.
Why are you in this class?
Well, the secretary said to survery each classroom. So, here I am
So, you came to this one first?

Summer whispers back to Danny "Of course I can! I'm actually surprised I haven't yet."

I am going to go talk to Summer
NO! NO!
The puppet jumps to the ground and runs up to Summer's desk. "Hello."

She jumps. "Ahh!" The whole class turns to her. "… I um finally figured it out hehe… Sorry for the disturbance, Mr. Wilson…"

I facepalm myself and I hide my face. The puppet squeaks and goes to Danny's desk. "Hello, Danny."

She grabs the puppet as a couple of people look over at her again. She smiles awkwardly at them.

"LET ME GO!" The puppet squeaks. He bites Summer's hand and squeaks even more

"AA-" She forces herself to be quiet and let go of the puppet. "Ok one more time disrupting class, and you will be sent to detention!" An angry Mr. Wilson was looking right at Summer. "I am very sorry Mr. Wilson, it won't happen again."

I gasp and I snap my fingers. The puppet disappears and I laugh nervously.

The bell finally rings and she leaves the classroom.

I run up to you and smile. "Sorry about that…"

"Well, that was strange."

I look at Danny and smirk. "Hello, Danny."
