He shrugged. “There’s honestly no way for you to prove it, I’m just high on my own bullshit again.” He chuckled before gently bumping his nose against Kyle’s. “Boop”
He shrugged. “There’s honestly no way for you to prove it, I’m just high on my own bullshit again.” He chuckled before gently bumping his nose against Kyle’s. “Boop”
Kyle grinned, bopping Caleb’s nose back before kissing it, “Boop.”
Caleb smiled widely. “Oh my gosh I love you almost more than I love myself” he said jokingly.
“Was that a joke or…” Kyle asked, biting his lip.
“Of course it was a joke. As much as I’m an egotistical bastard and wake up every day and almost call the cops on myself for being too good looking, I do love you a million times more than I love my handsome self.”
He sighed softly, "Honestly… you have enough ego for the both of us."
He chuckled. “I know. Hey babe tell me about what you were like in high school,” he said suddenly
Kyle bit down on his bottom lip with a small sigh, "I… At first I was kinda an asshole since I didn't like people but… my best friend at the time sorted me out eventually and yeah, I started becoming who I am now… why?"
He shrugged. “Just wanted to know. Can’t imagine you as being an asshole. But yeah, I guess I just wanted to see if you were pretty similar back then or not. I was relatively the same I guess. A bit different.” He sighed. “I was out but super masculine like I am now so I got asked out by girls like every year and it was annoying. Like even when I was with this boyfriend I had at the time, everyone thought I was straight! It probably didn’t help that I was on the football team.”
Kyle snorted and then giggled, punching him lightly, "You? On the football team?" He giggled again, "I can see why you got asked out a lot."
“I knoooooooow babe I was like a full hetero” he chuckled.
He giggled, still not quite believing it, "I can't imagine that."
“Well it’s true.” He replied, pulling Kyle into his lap. “I was a stereotypical jock except you know, extremely gay, respects women, and acknowledges the marching band” he said, counting them off on his hand. “But Yeah I guess I technically was popular?” He winced a bit. “It’s hard to explain. If you’re at all interested, I can try and just sum up my high school experience.” It was clear he liked talking about it a lot and wanted to continue
((Bro this is all because I was in a role play with Veronica as the protagonist and it’s during their high school years XD so of course Caleb became a major part of it))
Kyle made himself comfortable in Caleb's lap and nodded a little, "I wanna know, I'm curious now."
“Yes!” He said victoriously with a small chuckle. “Sorry if it sounds boring to you, but I just have really fond memories of high school.” He cracked his knuckles. “Where to start, where to start…ooh I know! I came out to everyone in my sophomore year, Veronica came out at the same time and we had Katie to back us up with science in case our parents felt like being jerks. They actually took it well, they’re just chill like that. Pretty sure my mom just looked at me, told me not to get AIDs and then went back to whatever she was doing. You’d like her, she makes fun of me a lot.” He chuckled. “Like I said, since I wasn’t a ‘typical gay’ I had to deal with the crap of girls asking me out or saying they could turn me straight. Which was just oh so very awkward and annoying to deal with.”
"Wow… I could have never come out in high-school, my parents would have disowned me or something." He mumbled, snuggling up deeper, "Where you friends with all the asshole jokes?"
“Not with the guys who were huge assholes. For the most part everyone was chill because let’s be honest, nothing straight happens in a guys locker room.” He chuckled. “But Yeah I had to fight a few people before they’d leave me alone about it. Okay but like the jock guys are ten times less scary than the band kids.” He shivered, curling into Kyle.
He giggled, swatting him in the stomach, "Band kids aren't that bad. Kinda weird but not that bad."
“They aaaaaaare. This guy I dated was a drum major and he had the weirdest stories from band. Especially with the saxophones.” He shivered dramatically. “They’re the scariest of them all.”
"I think it was just your school Caleb. The band kids at mine were not that bad. And I think you're being over dramatic."
“I am not! I’ve walked in on the saxophones doing summoning rituals!!” He pouted. “I’m surprised they didn’t sacrifice me as soon as my drum major boyfriend Josh dumped me.”
((Watch as Caleb talks too much about his ex and Kyle’s just like ‘wtf’
(lolololol)
He rolled his eyes, sighing softly, "Whatever you say. I still think you're over reacting."
“Whatever.” He mumbled, hiding his face in the back of Kyle’s neck. “They’re not all that bad. There was this nice freshman girl who thought we were just the absolute coolest people in the world.” He smiled. “Sometimes I think it’d be nice to go back to high school, everything was so much simpler then. But then I wouldn’t have you, and that would be awful.”
Kyle leaned back into Caleb slightly, "I could never go back. Too many bad memories associated with that place."
“That sucks..well then it’s a good thing you don’t have to go back then right?” He pointed out, gently kissing the back of Kyle’s neck.
He shivered at the kiss, blushing lightly, "Y-Yeah, it is."
Caleb grinned and started planting more light kisses on the back of Kyle’s neck and shoulders.
Kyle closed his eyes, melting under Caleb's kisses.
Caleb smiled happily. “Do you like that, dearest?” He asked, trying out the new nickname while planting more kisses.
