Without a pause, Beatriz grabs the girl's arm and judo flips her into the ground. Her fighting training is finally paying off. "Don't slap me, and don't call him Dray. I don't know who the he'll made you think you're the queen of the world, it I'll correct you whenever I feel that it's necessary.
Staring at the ceiling. Just staring, thoughts swirling.
Maverick's laying on the bed, a white rose in one hand, the flower the girl gave in the other.
Music whines in his ears. He doesn't know how to do this. He crafted this persona of a confident, egotistical guy. Flirting, always casual. How does he approach a confident girl? How does he go past flirting? How does he woo a girl? His hands are shaking now, in terror of playing with a fire he lit.
She said she wanted a flower. The words repeat on loop. Okay. He breathes.
Shrugging on his backpack, he goes down to the dorm. Maverick was watching the girl, observing her though he didn't know her name. At room 12A, he halts. Shaking, he repeats the mantra again. She said she wanted a flower. He can do that. He walks away, to his first period, history. A white rose glistens in his wake.
“He will never love a monster like you, bitch,” the girl wheezes. There are stares all around, and her gang are just standing there, dumbfounded.
"Yeah, I think I'm okay with that," Beatriz replies unconcernedly, blood boiling.
CC not paying attention to where she's going, trips on her own feet. She just lays on the ground and looks up at the ceiling. She gets up and dusts herself of like nothing happened. She looked over to see the guy from earlier. She stops and grins
A cruel smile curves the girl’s face. “You’re not dating. Thank you for confirming that.”
Blinded for a second by her smile, Maverick can only shake his head out of its daze. "Tripping all over yourself for me, huh?" he teases. Wordlessly, he offers her a hand - was that? Was that a blush spreading across his face?
Beatriz snorts. "Just because we're not dating, doesn't mean that you don't still have absolutely zero chance with him."
“I have much more off a chance with him than you do, sweetie.”
Beatriz sighed, looking up at the ceiling. * I didn't even know it was possible to be this annoying.* "That's great and all, good for you, but I don't really want or need a chance with him. Unlike some people, I like to actually get to know someone before I decide I want to date them."
“But he’s famous!” The girl sounds shocked that she didn’t see this very important point.
Beatriz stares at her blankly. "And that's makes a difference… how? Exactly?"
“Let me up and I’ll tell you.@
Again, Beatriz stared blankly. I wonder how it feels to be that dense. "I'd literally rather th row myself out a window."
“You do that,” the girl sneered. “And rod is all of your annoying presence.”
CC took his hand but then immediately twists it. Then she pushes his sternum so he would fall. Right before he did though she grabs him by the collar and looked him in the eye.
"got my flower yet?"
Beatriz groans. "It must be difficult to be that fucking stupid. "
(is struggling to imagine what they look like)
Oh gods she has really beautiful eyes. "You'll find out soon enough," he smirks. "We're late."
The girl is about to respond when the teacher comes in. “Ms. Tiya,” she says to the girl. “Please sit down.”
Her eyes widen and she lets go of him.
"You little…. Are you planning to distract me this whole year? Because if so I'll make sure it doesn't happen. She stares at him with her challenging smile. She quickly runs into the classroom and takes her seat in the very back by the window. She loves to day dream and write little stories in her head. But outside she can see the stories unfold.
Btw she was holding his collar with one hand with the other just twisted held up to his chest.
Maverick releases a 'whoosh' of relief, a genuine grin on his face. He swaggers into the History class confidently, hoping to relish the look on her face once she realizes they have the same first block. A disapproving glare from the teacher reaches him, and he nods apologetically. Eyes pan the room. Perfect. The only open seat is next to her.
CC looks at him with her hand on her chin. Her white eyes almost piercing into him. She touches his desk and it turns a darker shade of brown. She smiles at him with her white teeth showing and her one dimple on the left side of her cheek shows. She starts braiding her hair in a thick,
long yet cute side braid while the teacher is talking.
Raising an eyebrow, Maverick eyed the desk suspiciously for awhile before deeming it safe to hold his materials. "You have to explain that to me later," he whispered, motioning at the desk.
She looks at back at him with her cute side braid finished. She looks away and just pulls another flower out. This time it's a daisy. She puts it in her hair then looks back at him. The daisy didn't looked crumbled like it was stored somewhere at all, it looked as though it had grown perfectly and just freshly picked.
She twirls a few strands of hair in her finger as she looked at the desk.
She gets out a pen and a fresh white eraser. And starts writing something on it. When she's finished she aims at the flirt and flicked it at his face.
(what was on the eraser: so what flower did you get me ✿)
One eye on the teacher, explaining something about the basics of history, one eye on the girl who made things appear out of thin air. Including emotions. That thought was quickly pushed aside.
Maverick had to hold back a chuckle when the eraser fell into his lap, then again when he read the inscribed message. Instead of replying, he set the eraser off to his side, occasionally using it only for his notebook. She teased him at breakfast, consider this his revenge.
CC was a little shocked that he didn't give the eraser back.
She made a little paper foot ball and she wrote: that's not how to be a gentleman!
She also flicked that at his face. It his his nose the bounced on the desk
The corner of his mouth curved straight up at the mini football. Conceding, he replied, "It's not very ladylike to flick things at others with no warning."
She leanes over, her hair falling off of her shoulder, dangling down.
"Oh no… What're you gonna do?"
She says challenging him.
She actually takes time to study his face. His dark hair and his eyes. She studied them. His jawline and his lips and nose. She studied them to. One of her white eyelashes fell on her cheek as she blinked. She wanted to just sit on the bench and talk to him, get to know him. Her heart suddenly starts to pound, the leaves once again hit the window as they rustled outside. The birds chirping and the woodpecker hammering at the trees. She wanted to just go run outside. She forgets how much she just adores nature until she can't be with it.
Ryuu sits in his desk, listening to the teacher. He did come it late but he snuck in so he didn't get in any trouble. Algebra huh…. He's never liked math but he's crazy good at it.
He looks up at the ceiling lights. They're a little dusty, if his allergies hasn't kicked in yet they're about to.
He gets out his notebook to take notes but he just ends up doodling. He looks up at the clock…. Almost 9.
Ryuu walked in right after the teacher. Who was late to her own class. She saw the girls… He was about to interrupt but the teacher did first. She looked over at Beatriz… Her hair was really pretty, and she seemed really sweet…. She's to shy though…. He looked at Lure. She seems shy…. He sighed a looked down at his doodles with the occasional math problem.
*How do I do this….. *
