Smirking, Maverick turns away and draws a name; one he doesn't recognize. Science passes slowly for the boy.

Time skip

the bell rings for the last class then its lunch….. after that theres about 5 more classes.
CC walks down the hallway slowly. Holding her books and looking at the ceiling. Shes gotten bored out of her mind! People bumping into her left and right, ready to go to lunch.

Ryuu looks up nobdy that he knew was in the class. He was glad it was over, now he could see people that he know.
Although he probably wont talk to him. He notices the blonde girl and her friend walking down the hallway.
i kinda wanna talk to her….

Beatriz quickly makes her way down the hall, ready to finally have a break from her classes. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the boy from her first two periods and gave him a friendly wave.

Ryuu sees her wave and perks up. He smiles (honestly even I can't get over his super nice white teeth)
And waves.
oh I forgot!
He walks up to her
"um hey! Thank you for giving me that drawing!"
He reaches in his pocket and he gives her a drawing of a little chibi version of her holding a big flower.
*was that wierd? Ugh i don't know how to talk to girl…. *

Lure nudges the blonde, a slight smirk present on her features. Classes were exciting and she loved the Japanese school, much different from her previous one where people judged her for not being a jerk. The workload wasn't very heavy, but she eagerly looked forward to Japanese lunch.

Beatriz nudged Lure back before turning to the boy and giving him a bright smile and carefully taking the drawing from it. "Oh my stars, that's so adorable, thank you!" She tells him brightly.

His eyes brighten, he straightens up, he feels a rush of confidence flow over him.
"oh um- it was just because you- I mean…. yeah umm are you heading to lunch?"
He says desperate to change the subject but he still wanted to talk to her.
stupid of course she is

CC walks into the cafeteria, grabs her lunch and sits down at a lonely table in the corner, like she always does. She gets bored so easily, she has to always be doing something, she can't really help it.
She looked over to see the boy.
I still haven't gotten his name
She starts to eat,

Still smiling, Beatriz nods. "Yep. Were you sitting with us this morning? Sorry, I can never remember these kinds of things. But anyway, you should sit with us. I'm Beatriz, by the way. What's your name?"

Ryuu's clearly taken back.
"um no I didn't sit with you this morning, but um sure!"
Ryuu tries to keep from showing a huge smile.

CC gets done eating and puts her tray up, she walks outside to the little spot she's self assigned herself to, she sits at the bench and looks at the little pond. A rabbit jumped out of a bush and onto the bench. She's used to it, so she just pets it still mesmerized by the pond. The chilly wind blew through her white hair making her shiver. The flowers blow along with her hair and the leaves. She looks at the sky, then she gets out a hardcover notebook and starts writing.

Beatriz smiled wider. "Great. But… you didn't answer my second question. About your name? Although I'm pretty sure I'll forget it."

"ah I'm so sorry about that. I'm Wakasashi Ryuu"
He gives her a slight bow and smiled.
"so um are you enjoying Japan?"

Beatriz tilts her head thoughtfully. "Yes, I think so. It was a bit of a strange adjustment at first, but after almost a year, I think I've finally gotten used to it."

"oh that's good! Is everyone nice?"
He says trying to keep the conversation going, ahead feels like she might get tired if him asking her all if these questions
am I annoying?

Flirting didn't feel right anymore. He tried winking at a random guy in Algebra, chatting him up, all that jazz. Instead of being comfortable, a slight cloak of guilt had settled over his stomach. The girl who wanted a flower flashed through his mind, the girl who blushed at the simplest things, yet confidently returned his flirting. That girl. Why was she so special? He watches her now, just watching. Admiring the way her hair flows in the wind, how the animals and plants seem to lean toward her. The sky seems brighter over her head, and she gently pats a rabbit while bending over a book. He told himself he wasn't falling for her, as he observed her picturesque form. He told himself his rapidly beating heart was just an effect of the cold air. No, he wasn't actually having feelings for a girl that appeared as an angel in nature. He wasn't creepily staring at her little action. He was just watching.

Beatriz sighed. "I mean most people. There are jerks in every country, but nothing I can't handle," she answered thoughtfully.

Ryuu frowned but then looked at everyone in the room,
"yeah, people can be jerks…. I haven't been to any other countries…. must be fun"

CC loved writing about love, she was writing about a boy who stole his rich dads money and ran away to another country. He met this girl, and they slowly fall in love. He was shy and she was flirty. Different but that's how CC liked it. She tried to be flirty every now and then but it never worked. She always wimped out. She would either think they're to cute or they're jerks.
She was currently writing near the end. She was sad about it, she's gotten attached to the characters. She wrote:

"As he and his body succumbs to the pain, a feeling of cold water rushed over him, a feeling of relief calmed him as he took his last breath. He smiled at her, and touched her soft cheek, wet from tears. She smiled at him one last time, and kissed his forehead. Her words were soft like a lullaby. Singing him to sleep, she wish she was able to get to the chorus but he was gone…
He fell asleep in her arms. Silently and happy, but at the same time full of despair.
He wanted to hold her in his arms.
He wanted to protect her."

She looked at the rabbit as it bounced away.
She put down the notebook and pen and stood up then kneeled down at the pond, looking at the fish as it gazed at her eyes.

Beatriz shrugged. "You would think so, and it can be sometimes, but mostly it's just - I don't know. It's just me being anxious somewhere else - " she froze. Why did you say that? She cursed at herself.

"aw that's sad, but also I can relate to that a lot!"
He looked at her blonde,

"so um how many countries have you been in?"

A part of him felt weird interrupting the moment. He crouches down, next to the girl, staring at the pond. Armies of fish paint blurry colorful streaks under the water, each flashing in the spotlight for a mere second before overrun by another. He's never noticed that before. They create ripples with every movement, some drowned out before they spread, others reaching far and wide. Maverick has never realized that, before. He looks at the girl, side-by-side with him as he reaches this understanding with the world.

CC looks at the boy, she whips out a flower and held it out. A gush of wind rushes over them as she watched the wind ripple through his hair. His eyes looking down at the fish. He looked peaceful and calm. When he flirts he doesn't seem as peaceful, or at ease as he does right now. She likes this side of him…. is he growing on her?
She can't seem to find out, yet she needs to know more about this mystery man. She's going to find out who he is.
"Seo Hyeon Youn… every body just calls me CC but I guess its….. an alrght nickname."
She puts the flower in his hair beside his ear.
She lays down in the grass not caring about being dirty. She looks at him at the sun shines down on her, she smiles while looking into his eyes.
"your turn"

She was determined to get that flower.

Maverick's frozen, gawking at her in shock. "Pave, Maverick," he murmurs, disbelief crowding his mind. His hands reach up briefly to touch the flower before drifting down.

"cute…. I like it"
She says as she sits up. She smiles at him then stand up. He holds her hand, not for him to take it…
"now… my flower Mr. Maverick?"

Her warm hand in his feels right, and suddenly Maverick has an extreme urge to skip the rest of school. He wants so stay right here, with Seo Hyeon Youn. Furiously blushing, the boy still manages a smirk and mysteriously winks. "You'll have it before tomorrow."

She crosses her arms and put her hip to the side and sticks her bottom lip out. She bends down to him, extremely close to his face, their noses almost touching.
"why not right now? Do you not have it right now?"
Her soft hair brushes up against his cheek. She usually didn't want to be this close but she felt like being flirty right now.

Visibly affected, the boy inhales possessively before growling and turning away. "You'll see." A thought drops into his mind as his mouth curves upward. "How many times, I wonder, will you be late to classes because of yours truly?"

"all of them"
She leans closer to him, her hand on the ground so she doesn't fall. She puts her lips to his ear.
"why do you ask?"
She smirks at him wondering how he'll react. Shes determined to know the real him, she wont let someone come to her like that and let them get away with it.

He shudders - because of the cold, remember? - and whispers right back in her ear. "Flirt."
Out of nowhere, Maverick stands up, green eyes darting around and deeply breathing in the crisp air. Distance made things so much easier. "We should get headed back." He holds his hand out before quickly withdrawing it, a teasing distrust dancing in his eyes.

She sat there looking up. She had wondered if she's gone to far.
this is why i don't flirt….. it was fun but he's gonna run away like all of them….
She stands up. The first bell hasn't rang yet.
"You might have to leave, but i dont. Id rather stay here."
She dips here bare feet in the water, twirling a flowing. Looking visibly sad.

You've already messed up, good job, fucker. He screams to himself. Grabbing her wrist, he turns her away from the pond. "C'mon." Gently, Maverick tugs the girl out of the water. "I peeked at your schedule," he admits, bashfully looking away. "We have the same class next."
