Zyra nodded, not trusting herself to speak, considering she would stumble over her words like there's no tomorrow if she opened her mouth. Her heart had almost stopped beating when the other loosened her grip, had she done something wrong? Had she made the other girl uncomfortable?
"Am I making you uncomfortable by holding your hand?" she asked, not really wanting to let go although she would if Zyra wanted her to.
"N-No, I'm fine, totally fine, not flustered at all," Zyra stumbled out, being a bit sarcastic, considering she was very flustered and wasn't fine at all.
“If flustered you mean angry then I can get to the police station myself. I’m sorry if I’m being an inconvenience” she replied, hoping she wasn’t an inconvenience. She stopped and turned to the girl, their faces merely a foot apart
"No no, it's fine, you're not being an inconvenience," Zyra quickly replied, her face returning to it's original color.
(Sorry it's short)
"Alright" she replied, smiling softly. "Sorry if I'm being really forward," she muttered, brushing a piece of hair from her face.
"It's fine," Zyra muttered, running a hand through her hair to move some hair out of her face.
She kissed her quickly, a thank you gesture, which she didn't know could be taken for romance. "Thank you for helping me back there" she muttered after their lips parted.
Zyra looked shocked, more than shocked actually. "I—uh—y-you're welcome…." She stuttered out, blushing furiously as she let a piece of hair fall in hopes of covering her face.
She looked at her, confused. "Are you ok? You're hot and your heart rate has picked up" she asked, moving the hair and placing her lips on Zyra's forehead and checking her temperature without thinking twice.
(Heyyyy, so I know I haven't been on notebook for a long time, and I was wondering if you still wanted to keep this going? I just read through the rp and their relationship is so cute and I love it)
(Yes! for sure! I think it's your turn to respond though :) )
(I realized, sorry for not responding for so long lol)
Zyra didn't know she could be this embarrassed as she tried to form a coherent sentence. "I-I'm fine, just a bit surprised."
(It's alright lol)
She noticed the uncomfortable tone in her throat and backed off, still only getting used to the differences between her normal culture and human normalities.
She looked across her face, sighing softly as she gave up on trying to help her. Seemingly whatever she did made the red tint on the girls face brighten and the embarrassment aura become stronger.
"Surprised?"
(Thanks for understanding!)
Zyra nodded, her face slowly returning to it's normal color after she had gotten over it. "Yep, just surprised that someone like you kissed me."
She was slightly confused.
"Wh- What do you mean? I thanked you, I didn't kiss you?" she asked, her brow furrowing in the cutest, most innocent way possible.
"A kiss is a romantic gesture that… well, I wouldn't actually mind giving you…" she blushed harshly at the thoughts that came crawling out of the part of her brain she didn't know was present in her innocent, pure mind.
"That, what I gave you… was a thank you" she explained, hoping she'd get it.
Zyra furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, nodding after understanding a few moments and looking embarrassed because of the confusion. She blushed furiously when she said she wouldn't mind kissing her romantically, making her stare furiously at the ground as if it was it's fault. "O-Oh, okay then…" She mumbled, a sliver of disappointment in her voice.
She heard every different tone in her voice, her heart absolutely melting when she heard how sad she got. She decided the only thing that she could do was to kiss her again.
Wait, is that what a human would do?
She didn't realize how weird it must be for her.
"I-I…" she flipped through the pages of her mind for an excuse other than plainly saying that 'Oh I'm a witch but not the bad kind and the moment I met you I've sorta been falling in love with you ever since!'? No!
"I-I'm not from around here, I'm sorry if I'm so confusing" she fibbed, looking at the beautiful stranger.
"It's fine, I'm not from around here either," Zyra answered, glancing at the stranger. "Wait!–I don't think I ever got your name…"
"Kamelia" she replied, going in for a hug but realizing that might not be what she thought it was. Instead she went for a handshake.
Much less complicated
Zyra nodded and shook her hand with a firm grip, her bones and burn mark becoming a bit more visible when she shook Kamelia's hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Zyra."
She nodded softly, watching their hands embrace as they greeted each other formally. "Zyra, that's a very beautiful name" she smiled, the pink tint on her cheeks lesser than before but still present.
"Thanks, you also have a nice name." Zyra smiled, her face returning to it's normal color as she smiled, her green contacts starting to itch and annoy her.
"Thank you" she hummed softly, noticing that her eyes were actually contacts. "Hey, if you need to take out your contacts somewhere then we can go to the washroom of something" she suggested, hoping she didn't question how she knew.
How in the hell did she find out? Oh wait, I'm supposed to have brown eyes according to genetics yet I have green eyes, of course she's going to think it's contacts. Zyra shook her head. "Oh, it's fine, they just like to bother me for no reason some times."
"Are you sure?" she asked, looking up at her softly, looking in her eyes to try and see if she was lying. It was a skill she was trying desperately to pick up but it was harder than it seemed
Zyra nodded reassuringly, knowing full well her eyes are going to be blood-shot after she gets home. "Yep!" She ran a hand through her hair, ruffling it a bit afterwards.
She watched her hand move through her hair, watching it shimmer in the sun. This woman was mesmerizing. Everything about her, even her voice.
"Okie" she hummed.
Zyra looked around awkwardly, not sure what to do now. "Soo….what now….?"
