Azoni tied her horse to a nearby tree, grabbing a bedroll from its saddlebags and finding a soft looking square of glass to set it down on. Then she started gathering wood from the nerby woods, getting a big enough stack going that they could keep a fire burning all night. "Do you have any tinder? Or flint and steel? We need to get a fire going."

ashley pulled her horse to the tree were Az's was and tide her up. "i do actually i bought some before this trip. there in my pack can you grab it?" she looks around still trying to find somewhere to sit or set the fire up at."oh and be careful because there are some other things in there." ashley grabs her bed roll and sets up under a tree. her wolf comes up and lays down ashley lays her head on him.
Azoni grabbed the flint and steel, using it to light the fire with ease. She put it back, careful not to rifle around in Ash's bag or uncover her stuff. Then she pulled her bedroll next to Ash's and sat on it criss-cross, watching as she cuddled with her wolf. "Where'd you find him?" she asked, tentatively putting her hand in front of its snout to see if it would bite her.
as Az came over ashley rolled into a siting position."i found on one of my runaways he was in the forest and his mother was dead next to him. so i took him in and rased him myself my mother didn't know about it until two years ago." she watched as Az put her hand to his snout. he sniffed her hand and rubbed it letting her pet him.
Azoni felt her face light up and she began to pet the wolf's head, marveling at how soft and thick the fur was. "He's so sweet!" she squealed, plopping a kiss down onto his head. "I've never had a pet before! What's his name?"
she laughed at how the other marveled at the wolf." yes he is because i taught him to be he was a wild thing before i tamed him but still has a wild side." she looks up into the night sky"i haven't given him a name but i have been thinking about it. would you like to help?" she looks back down at the girl next to her.
Azoni felt her eyes light up as she wrapped her arms around the wolf's neck and nuzzled into the side of his head. "I'd love to! I think… Lavon. It means 'noble beast'. Or maybe… Ellis? Or Glenn?"
"those are all good names but i want something that makes him… never mind" Ashley looks away sheepishly. she didn't want to talk about what his name should be because she never actually gave him a name."i am sorry it just that i don't know the wording to say it out loud."
"It's fine. I mean, you could always just call him Wolf," Azoni joked, petting his head with a grin. A cold wind blew through and she shivered, watching as the fire crackled and flickered. She moved a little closer to Ash, unconsciously seeking out some extra body heat. "I mean, it's really up to you. He's your pet, not mine."
"yeah i could but i think i have the perfect name for him." ashley looks back at the other wanting to hug her for understanding but that would be weird wouldn't it? "i did ask for help though." she saw that the other scooted closer making her scoot closer too, just the slightest bit.
Azoni laughed, carefully trying not to notice the way her thigh was almost touching Ash's. She barely knew this girl, it would probably be weird to do couple-y shit in the woods. That didn't stop her from playfully shoving Ash, putting on a mock offended act. "I'm hurt! How could you have the perfect name and not tell me what it is? The child," she gestured towards the wolf "is waiting."
ashley sat back up from the push getting a bit closer then necessary, smiling like an idiot."okay this is weird but what about fireball or fire i don't know which one." her wolf perked up but she shook it off and looked at Az trying to hold back a laugh. "that sounds like a stupid name doesn't it?" she can barely contain herself from all the joy running through her from that single touch of a push.
Azoni nudged Ash with her shoulder, shooting her a soft smile. "Nah, I think Fireball is a pretty rad name. I mean, it kind of suits him." She turned to the wolf with a playful smile, ruffling the fur around his head. "And even if it didn't it would still be a kind of badass name. In my opinion anyway."
"you think so?" it was nice to here what other people had to say about what she thought unlike her mother wanting everything to go her own way."thank you for every thing." she couldn't take it any longer she hugged Az not caring what she thought it might mean it could mean anything.
Azoni instinctively stiffened in surprise at first, but she quickly melted into the embrace, wrapping her arms around Ash and pulling her close. "Of course, Hon," she said, voice warm and kind. She tried to keep her mind blank and not focus on how good Ash smelled even though she was covered in dirt from traveling or how soft her arms were, but eventually, she began to lose her resolve. With a quick "Push me away if you want to stop" she pulled Ash into a bruising kiss.
ashley breathed in taking in an air fool of the sent on Az. ashley was frightened and surprised when the kiss came not sure of what to do but after a few seconds she kissed her back just as hard not wanting it to end. but she had to come up for air soon enough when she did she looked into Az's eyes then kissed her once more giving in to her feeling of this beautiful girl right in front of her but she still gave her the option to pull away or say no.
Azoni did the opposite, surging forward into Ash's arms and deepening the kiss. Ash was really pretty under the worst circumstances, but she was downright entrancing in the moonlight. Like some kind of spirit. Or maybe an angel. She pulled away to breathe, resting her head on Ash's shoulder. "How are you so beautiful?"
ashley gave into the touch and the feeling of the kiss when Az pulled away she was kind of sad but when she asked the question she laughed a full laugh."i am not, but you on the other hand…" she gave a mischievous grin. she leaned on the other tired but not wanting to go to sleep."we should probably get to bed." kissing the other on the side of the head.

"You are too beautiful," Azoni whined, tugging on Ash's shirt to pull her down into a kiss. She didn't let it go on long, agreeing that it was probably a good idea for them to get to sleep. Another cold wind blew through, raising goosebumps on her arms. "And you're right. It's getting pretty late. Um… goodnight Ash. Sleep well." She pulled open her bedroll and slipped inside, sighing as warmth enveloped her.
"whatever" ashley says not wanting to argue. ashley got in top of her bed roll loving the breeze and just laying her head back on fireball."i will take first watch." she says not tired but also because she doesn't want anything bad to happen again. she gets up to put out the fire and heads back to her bed. she watches as the evening goes by. she watches the way Az breaths. how did she end up with all this?
"Sounds good," Azoni agreed, punching her pillow into a more comfortable shape and settling down. "Wake me up when you start falling asleep." After a few minutes, she fell into a deep sleep. At first, her dreams were peaceful and untroubled.
However, they soon took a darker turn. Ropes wrapped around her wrists, dragging her forward and into what looked like a wedding hall. She tried to yell for help, but she couldn't make a sound and no matter how hard she dug in her heels she kept being dragged down the aisle. Standing at the altar was a woman dressed up in a gorgeous wedding dress, and Azoni was pulled beside her. The woman turned around, and Azoni was horrified to see that she was a rotting corpse. She tried to back off the altar, but before she could take a step, the corpse grabbed her throat and began to choke her.
She woke up screaming.
ashley was so close to sleeping but she slapped her face making her wake up. she wanted to let Az sleep. when that scream came though she was fully awake she looked over at Az awake<'whats the matter what happened are you okay?" she rushed out the questions frightened by the sudden out burst. fireball stude up and growled scared from the scream and on guard now.
Azoni was breathing heavily, wiping at her face harshly to get rid of the tears pouring down her face. The dream was already fading from her memory. All she could remember were those half rotted hands crushing her throat. "I'm okay. I'm fine. I just had a nightmare, it's stupid."
ashley grabbed for Az 's hand trying to give her comfort."it's not stupid you had a nightmare. if you wan to talk about it i am here." she said with sadness but love too. she new she was falling but she didn't think was going to be this fast.
Azoni dropped Ash's hand and pulled her into a crushing hug. She buried her head in Ash's shoulder and tried to breathe regularly again. "I was… I was getting dragged down this wedding hall. And then when I got to the aisle, the bride was… she was…" her voice failed, and she sighed angrily.
ashley hugged her back tight not letting go."it's okay it was just a bad dream. everything is going to be okay." she petted her head trying to give off calmness but she was getting more frightened by the second because this girl was scared of something in her dream. ashley pulled away for a second to wipe some tears away that were left and pulled her against her again.
"God, I just… I feel like I should be better than this," Azoni explained, nuzzling into Ash's shoulder with a sniffle. Ash was a real lifesaver right now, giving Azoni the comfort she needed even though she felt like an idiot for getting so worked up over a little dream. "It's just a dream. I should be stronger. I should just… get over it."
"no need" she says with a smile rubbing her back soothingly. "you don't need to get over it. it was something that scared you that is something to fear but just remember that you are strong."ashley hugged her tighter for one last time. letting go she got up to make breakfast.
Azoni let out an unconscious whine when Ash pulled away, not wanting to leave the safety of her arms. She wanted to sit with Ash forever, but the sun was rising and they would need to continue their journey soon. "Where are you going?" she asked, still a little frantic.
"i am going to get some food so we can eat." she said but she really meant so that Az could eat. she wasn't really hungry but if she had to eat she would eat a little bit. she walked into the woods leaving fireball with Az for comfort and just encase danger showed up. she wondered for a little bit looking for a rabbit or squirrel.
