I had never intended for him to be autistic originally, actually, but I had accidentally given him several traits that met the criteria, and I never even noticed because those were things I did! He's also the character that I've based most heavily off of myself, which may surprise some people, but he's headstrong, hates being proven wrong, will lie his way in and out of situations, is empathetic even when it's difficult to show it, and many other things.

It's like her body knows when it happens and takes measures to keep itself grounded. If a nightmare wakes her up and she doesn't have the potion, she regresses, and her sister basically has to take care of a panicking 4-year-old in a 15-year-old's body for a few hours.
