Caleb sighed quietly. He didn’t know how long they had until Dark came. Hopefully Kyle was slightly better by then.

Kyle fell asleep a moment later, it was a light sleep and uncomfortable but sleep nonetheless.

He smiled softly, gently kissing Kyle’s cheek.

Kyle, even in sleep, blushed.

He chuckled. “Sleep well handsome” he whispered. He had to resist the urge to drown Kyle in kisses.

Kyle snuggled into him a little more but after that, he settled down.
He slept for maybe two hours and he seemed to be getting worse then better. His body was starting to sweat, even though he was shivering in his sleep. He slowly blinked open his eyes, whining at the light and the spinning that hit him.

“I’m right here. Everything’s okay” he whispered as soon as he heard Kyle wake up. He’d been up the whole time.

Kyle whined softly again, hiding his face in Caleb's chest and wishing he was sleeping again.

Caleb ran his fingers through Kyle’s hair.

Kyle sighed softly, leaning into the touches.

“Try to go back to sleep okay?” He said, more of a demand than a request.

Kyle nodded a little, snuggling into Caleb a little more.

Caleb stayed there with him, making sure he fell asleep. He was really worried, not like he’d let Kyle See that.

It took a little while but soon Kyle was asleep again.

As soon as he was sure that Kyle was asleep, he slowly got up, trying his hardest not to disturb him.

Kyle whined softly when Caleb moved, but didn't wake.

He sighed quietly in relief, grabbing his phone off the counter and going to another room

Kyle curled up in the spot where he had been.

Caleb dialed someone’s number, it rang for a few seconds before the person on the other side picked up.

((Why do I wanna do angst ;-;

Kyle whined softly in his sleep.

“Hey it’s me again.” He said, keeping his voice low so he wouldn’t wake Kyle up. The person on the other end said something that made him laugh. “Yeah I missed you too”

(Oh ShiiiT yessss but nooo)

Kyle ended up waking up, too uncomfortable to sleep. He sat up, slowly and was worried when he couldn't find Caleb. He very, very careful got up and followed his voice.

((Like nothing’s actually hApPeNnInG….but Kyle doesn’t need to know that.))

He laughed again. “Okay actually shut up, you big dummy” there was a wide smile on his face. He was facing away from the door.

(Pffft, 'course not)

Kyle pouted a little, confused.

((Why does this hurt me so much nooooo))

“Besides, I don’t have too much time to talk. He’s asleep but probably not for long.”

(cries in a corner)

His eyes widened a little. Caleb wouldn't… would he? No… maybe…?

Caleb seemed to be listening to whatever the other person was saying. “Yeah that should work.”

Kyle chewed on his lower lip to stop it from trembling.

“Aw you really have to go already?” He said in slight disappointment. “Jeez It’s like you don’t have time for me anymore.”

Kyle shook a small step back from the door, shaking his head to himself.
