I would add a description in words, and if you want her female, she can be female! As for name, if you had something in mind, then go with it!

Appearance: A partially feathered dragon with black and varying purples. Golden eyes.
Personality: Bubbly, curious, playful.
Other: Doesn't breathe fire until later, but it's white.
