“It was good, and the kids picked great songs.” She wrapped her arms around him as well and hugged him, starting to hum one of he songs quietly.
He nodded "they usually do. Did I hear some Disney songs in here?" He asked with a grin
She smiled, shrugging. “Maybeee,” She trailed, starting to hum a Disney song in response as well.
" that's a yes" he laughed and sighed "I think they waiting for us."
“I suppose,” She sighed as well, taking a half step away from him but not unhooking her arms from around him.
He smiled softly and cupped her cheek, pulling her in for a kiss before gently pulling out of her grasp "come on, we can't keep them waiting all day."
She chuckled lightly and shrugged as she took a step away from him and towards the kids, “I think they would wait for a little bit before they got suspicious.”
"you'd be very surprised with these kids. They pick up things quick." He laughed and turned back to the waiting group of kids "now what guys? We still have hand an hour before we have to go."
She nodded and looked at the kids, naming off the names she remembered in her head, “What do you guys normally do if you have free time?”
Marco shrugged "we mostly just hand out, sometimes we force Jassie to sing and we have to guess the song."
Scarlett laughed and looked over at Jasper with an amused look, “That sounds like fun, and a good way to waste time.”
Jasper nodded and grabbed his guitar "yeah it is," he thought for a moment before starting to play "I won't just survive…."
(That’s a GOOD songggggg)
She thought for a moment as to what song it was from before a smile crossed her face. “Do I sing the next part or just name the song?” She asked, looking to the kids.
(YUUUAAASS)
They all nodded "only if you know it, only then can you sing the next part." ene of the kids explained
“Makes sense,” She replied, her smile growing as she sang the next line, “Oh, you will see me thrive, can’t write my story.”
One of the kids shot their hand up, Jasper nodded and played the guitar to accompany them
"Can't write my story I'm beyond the archetype"
“I won’t just conform, no matter how you shake my core.” She continued, motioning for Jassie to join in with a smile.
Jasper nodded and sang the next line "'Cause my roots, they run deep, oh"
“Oh, ye of so little faith.” She looked around the room and at the kids, waiting to see if any of them were figuring out the song as they sang the lines, “Don’t doubt it, don’t doubt it.”
One of the kids hands shot up. Jasper nodded and stopped playing
"Rise by Katy Perry?" The kid asked with a grin. "Yep!" Jasper said with a smile "that was rise."
Scarlett smiled as well, still humming the song to herself as she nodded. “Next song,” She said in a sing-song voice, clearly liking this game.
Jasper smiled and thought for a moment before starting to sing "you must think that im stupid, you must think I'm a fool…"
When he started singing she listened, trying to think of if she knew the song or not. Her foot tapped to what she thought the beat would be as she thought.
Jasper glanced around, not seeing any hands to try to continue he or guess. He Continued to sing "You must think that I'm new to this, But I have seen this all before"
She recognized the song from somewhere but she couldn’t pinpoint it, the words on the tip of her tongue.
"wow guys, nothing yet? This is one of my favorite songs," Jasper pouted teasingly and sang more "I'm never gonna let you close to me Even though you mean the most to me…"
She gasped when the song popped into her mind, a triumphant grin on her face, “Can I say the song or so you want me to sing along with you?”
"either one is fine," Jasper said, laughing a bit at her mini outburst of realization
“Too good at goodbyes,” She said, quite confident in her answer as she looked at him and waited to see if she was right.
