So it's essentially a parallel universe. You know the way our world is today with technology? What if, instead of the industrial revolution, there was the magical revolution?
Picture this. A world where there is 0 technology. Every machine, every vehicle, every light switch, its purpose has been filled by a magical invention. This magic was developed via tests rather than experiments: certain conditions ignited certain powers, and these powers were concentrated and industrialized to aid society's development.
That is the setting I've got!
