There are very few benefits to living here in the middle of absolutely nowhere, but one of those few benefits is the fact that two of my neighbors own alpacas and yes, I get to pet them at the annual alpaca show
A beautiful story that should be told to all.
The 'bury your gays' trope. It's just blegh.
Killing off the gay characters gets pretty annoying when you keep seeing it all over the place.
i'd like to see a wedding or smth every now and then, or at least let them live smh
Yeah. Like, it's one thing to kill a gay character if you have a cast that's almost, if not all, LGBTQA+, but if you kill off the only gay character then it's just poor writing.
You can get away with killing off a gay character if it absolutely furthers the plot and the gay part is smth u dont notice right away or is mentioned at the end, but when gay characters specifically are killed off, then it's just offensive to the lgbtq
At least kill a group with one gay dude in it, so it counts as group casualty personally im not in or support lgbt, but im ok with them overall, so killing them off specifically is kinda bad tbh
I'll only kill of a character of a specific identity if they're not the only one. I kill off a lesbian who's in a relationship, but I keep her girlfriend alive and I have two other canonical lesbians who survive and are in a relationship.

Agreed

Like, I honestly don't get how some people think that it doesn't sorta send the wrong message if the only characters you kill are queer or disabled or not white, etc. especially if the character is hyped up (eg. the whole "Shiro is gay and has an ex! Oh wait, he refers to them as "flight partners" and dies soon after" thing)
I kinda view it like other LGBTQA+ stereotypes where yeah, I have a kind of flamboyant gay guy, but I also have one who's very serious and down to earth to balance it. I have a bi character who's kind of a hoe, but he's also immortal and not human, and there's many other bi characters I have who are in serious relationships. I have an aro-ace who's very aloof and cold, but he's royalty, and I have many others (and arguably one of my most emotional characters) who are ace or aro.
Being gay is not a tragedy
And creators need to stop treating it as such

Love it.
Also I want to whine here. Give me more flamboyant straight guys! How about that!

Approved.
Unrealistic sibling bonds. Like, ones that are either they hate each other all the time or are best friends all the time. It's a tossup at any given moment whether or not I'll like my sister
Yup yup.
Yeah
Things that mess up the timeline.
