Vanessa fluttered her eyes "No Brink" she said.
"Ness im going." He said sternly
"No I kn-ow how" she said.
"I meant argue with you about the antidote. I am going to Arkham," he said, heading to their home on the outskirts of Gotham
"There's a lab in my mom's basement" she said.
"Yeah, somehow I think there's a better chance of me getting into and out of Arkham then your mom's house. She's not necessarily fond of me." he said, glancing up at the door and pulling it open to find Jacklyn pacing the room "where the- what happened…?"
"I'll tell you after, can you get warm water and food?" Brink asked, setting Vanessa down on the couch
vanessa hissed in pain.
"sorry kitty," he glanced up as jester came down the stairs “jes, can you stay in your room please,” brink said, not wanting his son to get near the poison
Vaness's fingers lightly touch brink's face.
Brink glanced back down at her and kissed her fingertips "I'll go to your mom's house first. If she doesn't want to help then I'll go to Arkham."
"In the basement Theres the lab" she said.
He processed the information before nodding, kissing her once more and heading out the door
'"be careful" she muttered.
Jacklyn came down after tucking the kiss into bed "he'll be okay, Ness." She reasured, handing her some water from the kitchen

Brink headed over to Selena's house, knife in hand in case she wouldn't come. He banged on the door "Selena, we need to talk."
Selena sighed, opening the door ẅhereś my daughter?¨ she asked.
"dieing of poison from Samuel. She said you had an antidote to that." He didn't know whether to be aggressive or stand down , expecting more of a fight when it came to his mother in law. Honestly he was worries out if his mind for his wife
She opened the door ¨Basement¨ she said.
He narrowed his eyes "for what price?" He asked cautiously, making no move into the house
¨Save Her¨ she said.
He nodded "I will. Thank you. I'll call you when she recovers."
¨she nodded and walked away.
Brink sprinted back to the house and burst through the doors, holding the antidote in his hand "Water now." he called to Jacklyn
Vanessa lyed there her face as pale as ever.
Jacklyn came back with a glass of water and sat next to Vanessa, proping her head on her knee.
"Kitty, you need to wake up, please."
Vanessa did not move she layed there,
"Damn it ness," he choked back on anger and tears before taking the glass from Jacklyn and pouring the antidote into the water. He lifted Vanessa's and poured the solution into her mouth, tilted her head back so she wouldn't choke and took her hand "come on baby, your mom's gonna kill me if you don't live, and I'd rather not die like that."
Vanessa started to cough the paleness leaving her face.
he sighed in relief and switched places with jacklyn "I'm here kitty, you're okay." he cooed gently, placing a hand on her brow
